You know what the problem with Liberals is??? Well, to begin with they don't think outside their liberal box. They either just fell into the liberal world, were coerced into it or were born into liberalism. You find a lot of conservatives who may on some issues lean a little liberal, but sadly, liberals will not look at anything on the conservative side of the menu just in case they become one!!! lol Liberals also have been taught that anything that is not already placed carefully into their brain by older liberals is wrong and even evil and should be dismissed and at all costs not thought about. If it were not so sad it might be funny but there is no fun in a mind which will not allow itself to listen to the other side. The good news is there are fewer and fewer of them. Some have actually started to think for themselves (Gasp) and are coming over to our side. Some still live in the liberal life with all their liberal friends and family and have not yet come-out as the conservative they have become. Once you start to think for yourself, you can never go back to the gulags of liberalism. All the Democrats will have in a few years will just be the far, far, left crazy libs, a very strange group indeed. Like the always bed bug crazy, Janeane Garofalo, and likewise crazy liberal nut-job, Rosie O'Donnell. Then there is Bill Maher who couldn't be funny if he had to since he is so filled with hate and bile. Note: the only people who laugh at Bill Maher are equally lost, crazy libs. That is an easy way to make sure someone is liberal. If they laugh at anything he says just stamp a big "L" on their forehead. No help for you if you fall into that self-absorbed, all knowing, soul-wrenching hole of despair known as his adoring fan base. Seems the left is full of hate-filled people yet they call the right and Republicans the party of "no and hate." Go figure a crazy person's thought process. Anyway, if you are conservative or pulling yourself out of the left trap of despair, consider yourself lucky. The really far, far left are a sad lot who ring their hands with false concern and then shake their fists at the injustice of life. They feel they are the arbiters of all that is right and their job in life is to make the rest of us fall in lock-step with their wise edicts. Like Pelosi once said, "We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it." They know what is best for you and all will go well if you only follow every word they say. Liberals are joyless slaves to their own imagined sense of being someone to whom everyone should listen. They are, in their own minds our deliverers. Liberals who are far left of center will never understand what has been written here. They would only argue in circles with false information generated from other far left liberals. In an un-ceasing circle, they will argue with you until you realize there is no chance of reaching them. They will wait until you throw up your hands in disgust and walk away to label you one of two things. First, that they have undisputedly shown how stupid you are to think your conservative thoughts were ever valid or second, maybe that they reached you on some subliminal level and like the pod in the sci-fi movie, "Body Snatchers", their wisdom will crack open while you sleep and come the next morning you will awake born anew into their liberal army. Beware the far left liberal for they are in reality the "Freedom Snatchers" and will render you hopeless, helpless and in chains....all for your own good of course.

That basic conclusion, "If you disagree with me you are a bad person," justifies a literally unlimited variety of barbaric acts, in the name of compassionate idealism... why do they criticize Medieval Christianity, instead of modern Marxism?

Well, there's a little honesty/ common sense problem too.

The educated Democrat assumes a) having good intentions is the highest form of moral development, b) disadvantaged people are entitled to have the chattering classes basically assume legal guardianship over them, and c) anyone who disagrees with the resulting loss of freedom, and higher taxes, lacks this sense of compassion, and is therefore a bad person.

I just do not understand how anybody born and raised in this country could or would freely give up so many rights to the government. Why would they want to change having all the freedoms they have had?

The important thing to take away as a conservative is to stay strong no matter how the left will try to bring you down. They have a lot of tactics but we have the truth. Spread that truth to everyone. You will know soon enough if you are talking to a far left Freedom Snatcher and in those cases don't waste your time. Time is short. Push ahead and do whatever you can to help the win in November. Find those who are lost or confused still about who to vote for. They need to hear the truth so they too can be a part of saving America. Yours in Freedom.

Of course, I wish there was less name-calling in real public discussion. Even that seems to be asking too much. Really! I try very hard to persuade liberals to at least admit that not everybody with a different opinion is a scary villain. Nothing doing! Our society no longer believes in the two-sided story?

The funny thing is, for all of their propaganda and indoctrination, at least a slim majority of us stupid Americans just won't be herded into the fold! And the sheep mentality is so strong, liberals can only assume conservatism is the result of a different sheeple-brainwashing process!
