Arms Trade Treaty

I just read that Hillary is heading to New York to sign the Arms Trade Treaty. Ostensibly to control sales of weapons to drug cartels and rogue governments, its reach will be much deeper into our lives. Under the treaty, the Second Amendment will be in jeopardy. It is only a short step from international arms control to domestic confiscation of weapons.

The Founders never envisioned an administration that would even consider signing a treaty that would eliminate the rights of the People confirmed and protected in the Constitution they wrote. They were absolutely positive that any future president would abide by his oath to protect and defend the Constitution.

Sadly, their assumptions about the future of their nation only lasted until 2008. Then the People, misled by lies and secrecy, elected an anti-American, one world government president. The UN is the closest thing available to Obama to continue his destruction of American values and rights.

Only one thing will protect our nation from this treaty and others leading to a one world government. And that is not the Senate. Obama has shown many times that he will "go around Congress" to impose his will. No, the millions of People having rifles, handguns and shotguns will ultimately defend our liberty as they have on many occasions. Of course, there will be laws requiring all guns be turned in to be in compliance with the treaty. But many will resist handing over their guns. And most states do not require registration of long guns. So many might turn in one of their guns while holding several in reserve to protect and defend the Constitution.

Many will say that the government will have to pry their guns from their dead hands. And most of those weapons will have warm barrels from multiple firings. The American People will fight. Most of us still believe the Constitution is the supreme law of the land, and we will die if necessary to protect our way of life.
