Governor Romney, will you, for the love of God, please stand up and fight already! Our nation needs to rid itself from the malignancy of the Obama Presidency, and right now, you are the only realistic chance of that happening. For the good of our country, we all need to stop addressing you as Mr. Governor and to begin addressing you as Mr. President.
During the primaries, when you found yourself behind, you were in a word, brutal. This, despite the fact that I voted for someone else in the primary of my state was one of the reasons that I feel excited about your prospects come November of this year. I believed that you would be willing to take the fight to Barack Obama in such a way that John McCain idiotically refused to do four years ago. I wish to see some evidence that my belief is correct, and I would like to see it soon.
Somehow, your team has it in their minds that you can not get tough on the current President. While I'll agree that you should not be dishonest in your campaign and depend solely on mud slinging, Being honest and being tough are not mutually exclusive. The fact is that over his four years as President, throughout his entire life, and more specifically very recently, Barack Obama has provided you with a veritable smorgasbord of ready made campaign issues, any one of which should be sufficient to help you fire him.
It is not necessary for you to preface every statement with the, "I think he's a nice guy who means well," meme. That is counter productive, and quite honestly, whether his incompetence in handling the business of the American People is born of malevolence or actual incompetence is not at all important. what is important is the fact that he is doing severe damage to our nation, our economy, our foreign interests, and our national pride. Attack the issues with the same passion and brutality with which you went after Herman Cain, Rick Perry, Newt Gingrich, and Rick Santorum, and you will win the White House in a landslide.
Here are some of my ideas:
Projecting American Weakness abroad has resulted in the Middle East being set ablaze.
Shockingly, putting Jimmy Carter's foreign policy agenda on steroids has produced Jimmy Carter's results, on steroids. The Obama foreign policy has resulted in the deaths of American diplomats for the first time since Jimmy Carter was President. He ran on a platform of appeasement, and while he called it smart diplomacy, those who consider themselves America's enemies were not fooled by the euphemism. One positive thing that his foreign policy did accomplish however is that he proved my Eighth grade history teacher correct. If we as Americans project weakness around the globe, the results will continue to be the very same disaster as we have experienced each and every time we used that philosophy to dictate our foreign policy.

Drill Here Drill Now.
Every election cycle, we Americans are treated to a steady diet of lip service proclaiming that both Democrats and Republicans want to give us the gift of energy independence for Christmas. I will not for a moment waste my time arguing the futility of this statement, most especially being a free marketeer myself, but I will state that what we have never been given was a definition of what each side means by that statement. The Democrats mean that they wish to end the market's utilization of oil and coal as a means to supply our economy's energy needs and to replace it with the, "green," sources that quite simply do not exist. The Republicans wish to start doing what ever we can do to produce all sources of energy here, including oil, coal, nuclear, natural gas, and yes, even wind and solar just as soon as the free market makes that particular vehicle efficient enough to utilize. By allowing the debate to stop there, we on the right side of the aisle have continually allowed the political left to rephrase their extremely unpopular, and by the way moronic ideas in language that is designed to make people believe that there is truly no difference between the two positions. Americans want a plentiful supply of gas to drive their cars, electricity to light their homes and to cool off in the summer, natural gas to heat themselves during the winter, and all of the above to power their economy.

Our economy is in terrible shape, and contrary to what is being stated, we were not on the road towards depression four years ago, and it has not improved at all in four years.
Barack Obama and Ben Bernanke are operating under the devastatingly wrong assumption that Unemployment and Inflation can be traded one for the other. I appreciate you statements about 47% of Americans not paying federal taxes, but I disagree with your assumption that they are all happy about that. Many, if not most would rather be contributing than taking. Dale Carnegie in his book on influencing people said that being necessary is as basic a human need as is breathing or eating. Purposefully inflating our economy and robbing Americans of the purchasing power once held in their savings and 401k's has not produced any where near the number of jobs our President predicted, if any at all, and his statement of creating 4 Million private sector jobs is at best misleading. He adjusts his time parameters to serve at his convenience, and what's more, after the double counting, growth in population, and lack of new entrepreneurial start ups are factored in, his job creation record ranks him lowest in our nation's history, going all the way back to our first President. (Economic recessions are usually periods of heavy entrepreneurial activity for two reasons. One, as the economy retrenches, new businesses are started to capitalize on new consumer trends and technologies. Two, as people find it tough to gain employment in their former professions, they take their knowledge and start new businesses. This activity is completely missing today. when this is factored in, The Obama boom is not only non-existent, it is also glaringly highlights his failure.)
Obamacare
Very simply put, the vast majority of Americans do not want any part of this law. Reports come out every day which tell us just how much more screwed we are today than we previously knew. Every stump speech should end with this statement. If you want to repeal the Obamacare law, vote for Mitt Romney. It you want to keep the law, vote for Barack Obama. That sentiment should be in every campaign ad, and it should be a theme. Highlight the terrible consequences of the law and the pernicious back door deals which are included in it. Have some of your sharpest people actually read the darned thing and let people know that they face a 3% tax on selling their homes, a 1% Tax on all deposits and every time they take money from their checking accounts or savings accounts. Clue Americans in that Obamacare has necessitated the hiring of 16,000 IRS agents, created death panels to determine the economics of medical procedures and who will be worthy of treatment, while not a single doctor will be added to our national health care system as a result. Don't be afraid to discuss the inefficiency of a law which will require 79 Million man hours every year to audit and that we could build 11 Empire State Buildings each and every year with that kind of productivity. When people point out Romneycare, keep going anyhow as if you had not heard them. Just keep promising to repeal the mess, and pointing out that States are indeed different than the federal government.
Barack Obama is not going to ease up on you, nor will the main stream media ever give you a fair shake. Just ask John McCain who probably still is expecting to be highlighted as the Maverick who transcends party lines in this Sunday's edition of the New York Times.

Comment by ANDREW SCHRAG on September 23, 2012 at 10:14pm HOW MANY MEDICAL OPINIONS ARE NECCESSARY BEFORE WE UNDERSTAND THAT YOU CANNOT COUNT OBAMA OUT UNTIL THE VERY LAST VOTE. LAST TIME POLLS WERE KEPT OPEN WAY PAST CLOSING TIME BECAUSE OF ALL KIND OF ELECTORIAL HANKY-PANK. HE IS NO FOOL ALTHOUGH HIS CONDUCT WOULD HAVE YOU BELIEVE SO..THIS GUY WOULD DRAG BIDEN THRU THE STREETS OF PHOENIX IF HE THOUGHT IT WOULD GET HIM ANOTHER VOTE.. ROMNEY ACTING LIKE HE HAS THE ELECTION WRAPPED UP SO WHY CAMPAIGN ? BOTH APPEAR TO WANT THE OFFICE FOR ITS PRESTIGE MORE THAN FOR ITS REFORM...BOTH MAKE ME SICK....

God I hope Susan is right.
Comment by Susan Krueger 2 hours ago I agree that far more people are voting for Romney than the liberal media wants to admit. They are trying to pretend Obama is still wildly popular and I have to think he is only still popular with the most leftist, ignorant people out there (and they are legion but I think the smart ones still outnumber them!).
AND THE LEGION OF MASS MEDIA PUNDITS AND EDUCATION SYSTEM IDIOTS BEGGED TO BE SENT INTO A HERD OF SWINE AND RAN HEADLONG OVER A CLIFF...SO IT IS WRITTEN...AMEN.
Comment by Gary Singleton on September 20, 2012 at 10:03pm With Bill O'reilly last night and many other nights he gives the impression that he will vote Obama. He needs to be fired as this station needs to be more conservative . The dems own enough stations without the help from Fox.
Comment by Gary Singleton on September 20, 2012 at 9:58pm Mitt needs to hit hard on everyone of Obama's failers and never let up till he is sworn in as President. He also needs to let everyone know that as the Dems blame the mideast troubles on a film , what it needs to be blamed on is Obama and Biden bragging on killing Bin Laden. This made more Muslims mad and thats why they are burning our flag and burning pictures of Obama and yelling kill Obama .

Comment by William G. Morrow on September 20, 2012 at 6:49pm I just had to put this in again why I cant stand Bill O'Reilly again last night he said" Obama is not a communist and he was born in Hawaii" I guess Sheriff Joe is a liar and all the evidence is wrong and Obama is a Christian too. O'Reilly thinks he can be the last word on everything...
Comment by Janet Bosley on September 20, 2012 at 6:44pm havent we been this route before? Joseph O agree with you. I think he is farther ahead than the polls show also. today he is exactly in the Gallup where Ronald Reagan was this date before the election.
Are you people asking mitt Romney to be something he is not? You are asking him to go for the jugular, i get ome want him to do some personal attacking, do you not believe if he is a righteous God fearing man and he is doing what he believes is right for the right reasons that he can prevail or have we lost all faith. i think you will se a change coming up here soon but don't expect him to be like obama and his cut throats.
