Americans pay for Obama's barber to be flown in from Chicago every two weeks

When was the last time you had your hair cut?  Chances are it has been longer for you than it has for Obama. German Public Radio reported on Wednesday that the American taxpayers pay for President Obama to have his hair cut every 10 - 14 days. 

The president of any country should look his or her best at all times and Obama is no exception.  Obama was accustomed to having his hair cut by the same man, Zariff, who cut his hair for almost 20 years.  Now that Obama lives in Washington D.C., who cuts the president's hair every two weeks? 

Zariff, the same barber from Chicago, is flown to Washington D. C. from Chicago every 10-14 days. 

The barber never says a word about what they discuss. Perhaps that’s also a reason why Obama feels comfortable being around him. Otherwise he would not fly his barber in from Chicago to Washington every ten to 14 days.

A search online for round trip tickets from Chicago to Washington D.C. show that one trip could be as affordable as $221, assuming that Zariff is willing to fly coach.  Not including the cost of the ride from the airport to the White House, or the actual cost of the hair cut, the American taxpayers have paid almost $23,000 to date just to get Obama's barber to D.C.

It seems the "troubled economy" doesn't apply when scheduling a haircut.
