A Grandfather's Memorial Day Prayer
Blessings to you and your family on this "special day" of the year.
While soldiers fought for freedom over there, we've gladly saluted them with a cold one.
Maybe it was a beer or iced tea or lemonade or just a good cold water of cheer.
Freedom is no longer fought-for "just" over there. Freedom is no longer foreign won and done.
This Memorial Day, You and I must "also" do what it takes to save freedom over here.
Tell Congress to bring our troops home to protect our borders, while they cut spending.
Freedom is not "free" nor is it guaranteed to us just because we have won a few wars over there.
Deficits and Crony Chicago-style politics must end. What happens when China stops lending?
