GOP Dream Team - read the WHOLE thing!

Not a bad idea!!!

I DON'T KNOW WHO PUT THIS TOGETHER, BUT IT'S INTERESTING....

Read all the way to the end!
How about this for a Republican slate!!!

Here is a winning strategy that would set Obama and his Cronies way, way back on their heels. If Romney would take this advice, it would clearly send a message to the Republican establishment that conservatives aren’t going to do business as usual any more.

It would shake the establishment, and pull together and really energize conservative voters. Here is a little something else this would do…It would shake the Obama campaign to its core.

Rather than a leisurely march toward a VP nominee or a surprise VP announcement like we got in 2008, vet the possible VPs NOW and stand ready to announce the running mate in a nationally televised press conference the day after the delegates are in hand.

Allen West
Vice President
Having Congressman West in the VP slot makes him a TRIPLE THREAT and a VP who WILL redefine the role. Triple threat?
  1. As the Vice President he would attend to the regular duties and be a heartbeat away from the presidency.
  2. Vice President West would also act as a second Secretary of State in difficult diplomatic negotiations.
  3. AND…A Vice President West would work in concert with the Secretary of Defense to realign our military and redefine its role.
And he’s Black. Triple threat. Oh but this is just the START of the strategy!!!

As soon as Romney has introduced West as the running mate… ROMNEY WOULD THEN INTRODUCE HIS CHOICE FOR SECRETARY OF STATE!…

John Bolton
  SECRETARY OF STATE
As a former Ambassador to the United Nations there is nobody with a better handle on the world’s issues or more familiar with the players. John Bolton is tough, straight forward and not likely to appease ANYONE.

Now, you have the nominees on stage, the VP choice and the Secretary of State nominee…Let’s not stop there. Next to walk onto the stage…

Sarah Palin
  Secretary of Energy.
Palin’s directive…Set us on the path toward energy independent in 10 years. Anyone more invested in that goal? Anyone who is more knowledgeable or adept?
Can you feel the ground starting to shake? Next out of the wings and onto the stage…

General David Petraeus
  Secretary of Defense
The nominee for Secretary of Defense. Enter General David Petraeus. As great as he was fighting a PC war, imagine what he’ll be like once he and West have pressed the reset button on our rules of engagement. In Petraeus we will have a Secretary of Defense whose mission will be to win. PERIOD. When our case is just, VICTORY IS NOT A BAD WORD!

Oh…but we're not done yet…..

Attorney General - Pam Bondi.

Bondi is a no nonsense fighter who has taken on the current administration over Obamacare and WILL clean out the corruption rampant in that office today.
Okay, where are we? Who is now standing on the stage? The nominees so far are: Allen West, John Bolton, Sarah Palin, General Petreaus and Pam Bondi.
How about a Secretary of the Treasury? We would need someone who has worked for YEARS in the tax field who understands the overwhelming burden of tax codes and who has, for years fought to restructure those codes.

Michele Bachmann
Secretary of the Treasury.
By now, fissures should be opening in the ground, rumbling coming from the sky and the faint odor of ozone should be in the air. We will need someone new…someone with new ideas to head up the Fed.

Please welcome Ron Paul. Do ya' think he'd kick butt? Do you think the Fed would tremble? You betcha!
And maybe all the Ron Paul supporters who will stay home if their guy doesn’t get the nod, maybe they’

Governor Bobby Jindal
Secretary of the Interior
COME ON DOWN!!!!!
And finally…We need someone to head up the Department of Homeland Security. We must have someone who understands the issues we face. Someone who has worked in federal law enforcement. Someone who won’t take any crap from anybody.

Please…a round of applause for…!

Sheriff Joe Arpaio
Department of Homeland Security

Never before has a presidential nominee entered the full-on campaign with a fully assembled team. Can you even imagine the shock-and-awe wave which would be sent through the Obama regime if Romney were to do this? Think about it.

Instead of just Romney against Obama we would have:
  Allen West vs. Joe Biden
  John Bolton vs. Hillary Clinton
  Sarah Palin vs. Stephen Chu
  General Petraeus vs. Leon Panetta
  Pam Bondi vs. Eric Holder
  Michele Bachmann vs. Tim Geithner
  Ron Paul vs. Ben Bernanke
  Bobby Jindal vs. Ken Salazar
Sheriff Joe Arpaio vs. Janet Napolitano.

**Think about that!**
Let that sink in…all of them campaigning at once. There would be no way out for Obama as each and every key player on his team would be exposed and held to account from the word GO.

It’s bold, brash and completely against any business as usual strategy. Imagine! An entire assembled team of key cabinet positions. Each one a pit-bull on a T-Bone, hammering their liberal counterparts on every issue, every day, from the word GO until November 6th, 2012.
Charles R. Kienast A comment from Thomas Ash! Like most of your picks but HHS & DOD are the elephants in the room. You have a solid DOD pick but nothing on HHS. HHS is where reforms have to be made if we aren't to drown in debt and entitlement. Also there are two other independent agencies other than the FED that are quite bothersome and need strong, frugal leadership and those would be EPA and GSA. I favor merging Energy, Interior, & EPA with Sarah Palin as secretary. Do away with Education. Give Jindel Transportation or Labor and maybe Herman Cain at Commerce. Charles R. Kienast Good ideas, Thomas Ash and I agree with you totally on this. Personally, I would think that Guilanni would make a good Homeland Security secratary - some good ideas here and I sure would love Romney to think seriously about all of this and how he can pull the rug out from under Obama. Trust Mitt to do the right thing.  He has spent his life proving that he knows what he is doing.  If he chooses the correct wife that proves he knows what he is doing.  If he saves the corrupt Olympic Committee, that proves he knows what he is doing.  If he chooses the correct VP, that proves he knows what he is doing.  If elected that should be PROOF that he knows what he is doing?  TRUST MITT TO DO THE RIGHT THING, HE KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING!  The only other choice is Obama, and if you think Obama knows what he is doing, then Obama is the man for you!

Sounds good to me. Let's get started.

This is a dream team.  I like this one.  I hope most of the departments are gone and these people oversee that effort.

Comment by Janet Bosley on July 19, 2012 at 9:42am

Paul, Romney has already said he was going to get rid of many departments and Education happened to be one of those he mentioned. I believe he will get rid of some, there is too much waste going on and a lot of those departments are the reason why. Yes, I believe Romney will do that. I think what we all need to remember is these things will not happen in a month after he is elected, there are too many things to get done and they have to have their prioraties in place as well and us remembering, when you start knocking dominos down there is a chain reaction and they will need to be prepared to connect the dots and fill in the gaps to control the roll. time, it will take some time. With a strong proactive competent team it can be done and in a timely manner and as as said. The sooneer they are in place the faster things will happen.

I can see how having this all in place would be a big kick in the head for Obamas team. Their focus would be so far spread and all over the place that it would be hard to just focus on bashing Romney. There are a couple of people here I would not necessarily agree with but the one I would really question is Joe Arpaio. For one thing, doyou know his age? As a follower and supporter of Arpaios for all the years he has run I am starting to think we need to be looking for another strong sherriff in Dodge that will focus on the same things. Many of us that have been behind him for years do believe he has run his course and is at a point in his life he needs to find a suitable predicessor and support him. The entire idea and thought process however cold be kind of like the Bomb over Hiroshima to the obama Team. Could definately be a game winner.

Perfect!  I also wrote on Mitt Romney's website.  Allen West would be a perfect choice for VP, and the rest are perfect as well.  I sure hope he takes the advice, and it is time for him to come out swinging.  No asking Obama to apologize for anything, it isn't going to happen.  Let him say whatever he wants, he has his own hoof and mouth disease which Romney can easily counteract with facts.

Paul Geffert - I have posted on Mitt Romney's official site but have never heard anything back. Don't know if there is a way to send something directly to Romney or one of his top people like Ed Gilliespie, etc. Would like to communicate with them but hard to reach people like that with all the stuff they likely get.

Mike Meeks - of course, there are some departments (corrupt and wasteful that serve no useful purpose for all practical purposes), and they should be abolished but not sure that Mitt Romney will do that. A Sarah Palin, Allen West or maybe even a Newt Gingrich would but can not see Mitt being that aggressive there. A conservative Congress could by refusing to fund them when passing a budget or making their budget so low that they have to do major cuts in their programs and number of people who work there, etc. But if we could eliminate or drastically reduce many un-effective, useless and wasteful agencies, combine those that are reduntant and cut overall government spending, we could definitely have a balanced budget without a tax increase. Of course, we should still pass a constitutional amendment that mandates a balanced budget (except in time of war) and an amendment that allows the president to have line item veto authority (like most state governors have. Also, we need to have a major tax reform bill that streamlines our tax structure and eliminate all deductions -- all of this would reduce spending and increase tax collections due to increased business activity in this country along with a robust economy - less taxes overall but more tax collection with an increased in our business and economy and more people working who will be paying into the tax collection system instead of getting entitlements and handouts.    Great list.  A few corrupt departments were left out.  The FDA and Federal trade commission are close to the top

of the list.

Do you think we could get a (balanced) budget with out a tax increase if we stop paying for bad government?

Charles, a terrific slate of qualified people an "Pats". Please send your memo directly
to Mitt. He has to like your suggestions, if not he's a part of the problem.
