Whereas, the Constitution of the United States of America is the supreme law of the land, and
Whereas, the Second Amendment to the Constitution guarantees the right of every individual citizen to keep and to bear arms, and
Whereas, the writings and public statements of the founding fathers of this country clearly indicate that the right to keep and to bear arms was entered into the Constitution for the purpose of defending against all enemies, domestic and foreign, including tyranny within our own government, and
Whereas, the organization known as the United Nations is comprised to a substantial degree of member states that have identified themselves as enemies of the United States, and
Whereas, the United Nations has demonstrated by its proposed Arms Trade Treaty its intent to disarm the citizens of member nations, thus rendering the individual citizens incapable of defending themselves or their respective countries, and
Whereas, each member of the Congress of the United States has sworn to uphold and defend the Constitution against all enemies, domestic and foreign,
Any vote cast by any member of either House of Congress in support of any international treaty, law, or regulation that has the effect of abridging or superseding the clear wording and intent of the Constitution of the United States, including the Bill of Rights and its Second Amendment, will be construed by the People as a willful abrogation of that member’s sworn duty to uphold and to defend the Constitution of the United States, and will constitute prima facie evidence of treason against the United States, and
Such member of Congress shall stand in jeopardy of the consequences of that treasonous action.
(Signed)
We, the People of the United States of America
