Support Mitt Romney.
Conservatives have no other choice if we are going to defeat the liberal
left and the Barack Hussein Obama regime, to restore the Constitution of the United States of America.
Defeating the arrogant Obama, and his radical-left, democrat regime, is the objective. Romney wasn't my first choice, but we’ll worry about Romney after the elections reveal his actions, or inactions. With a Republican controlled House and Senate, full of grass-root conservatives, we will have a chance of survival for our Republic.
Never again should politicians be given our unwatched trust. As citizens of America, it is our duty and responsibility to watch these officious political stereotypes who start out with great intentions, but sadly become so quickly impressed with their new powers, perks, ego’s and buddies. “Birds of a feather flock together,” my mother often said.
Men and women with good intentions set out to change things for the better when they initially run for office. Some of them somehow, forget about their constituents who put them into office. Once they become elected politicians, they seem to forget the promises they made on the campaign trail. Why, I ask, do they lose their principles, morals, scruples and grip of reality? Why do they lose touch with the people they are supposed to represent? Why do they too, send the same template letters out, the politicians before them sent out? Why are they are no longer approachable once in office? We know they could see their constituents face to face if they were not so...what? Arrogant? Afraid to face those they lied to? Have to answer something honestly or intelligently? Do those fake politicians really think the voting citizenry are pathetic idiots? If so, they are nothing more than elitists.
For these reasons, and so many more, we must get a “Fire In The Belly of Support Going” and get behind Mitt Romney for President. We must find new conservative/grassroots candidates for the Senate and House and catapult them into office. The new chant is; “Hold the House, Take the Senate, and change the president!” I couldn’t have stated it better. This is our watch now. We have no excuses if we let our nation fall apart.
Constitutional Conservatives vote Republican. We continue to be authentically loyal to the Constitution. We must never give up and we must certainly never let our guard down.
Conservatives seek security for our borders, lower taxes, limited government, and the national debt reduced by a balanced budget. States rights recognized. Extinguish dependence for government handouts with-- independence. Only then will our nation climb out of this politically infused, ruse of despair the liberals feed us through their fear-tactic, propaganda. Who, with a respectable or sane mind, would want to be a kept citizen, humbled and dulled by the government shadowing their every move?
The term “common man” should never apply to Americans. When our nation began, those patriots never chose to be common. Our forefathers were uncommon patriots, boldly original, who sought security through independence and the opportunity of free enterprise. That is how this nation grew and became so industrious. No other nation was like the United States.
We still stand erect, proud and unafraid, despite the lies and deception we have been forced to accept as truth. America is waking up. People are beginning to think for themselves and testing the words of these wordsmiths who will say anything to get elected. Vetting candidates is the solution to government taking over more and more of the economy, imposing devastating regulations on businesses and crushing taxes on the productive as if a punishment. If the elected politicians won’t stop the complete control over health care, education, excessive spending, intrusion into our private lives and stop dismantling our domestic energy production, they too should be voted out. We must stop them from passing laws and regulations that control more and more of our lives, taking away our freedoms and rights. We must stop them from weakening America and weakening our Armed Forces, or we’ll be unable to stand up to our enemies who want to destroy us.
Get a fire in the belly momentum of support going for a new president, new Senators and new Representatives....that will be a great start, in my humble but accurate opinion.

Comment by janet barks on May 29, 2012 at 11:22pm I must add my two cents worth.
I do not claim to know much about the Morman faith. I do know that a Christian believes in his heart that Jesus Christ is the son of God. He said, "If you have seen me, you have seen the Father. It is only believing that Christ came to earth to die in our place. It is because of his shed blood that the Father, which is Holy and perfect can look upon us. Christ's blood covers us so that God can even look at us and accept us. It is God that became flesh in the person of Jesus Christ. That is what I believe the word of God tells us.
Only Christ knows our hearts (not just what we confess), and that includes Romney's heart.

Comment by Debrajoe Smith-Beatty on May 29, 2012 at 8:59pm I just heard on the TV news that Romney has won Texas and will be the GOP candidate.
Comment by Tucker Gillenwater on May 29, 2012 at 8:41pm I think of myself as a conservative not a Puritan.

Dude, that's fire in the belly, I like it! Now we need to pray for a candidate that meets these criteria and will protect this Great Christian Nation. The U.S. is like the city of Nineveh and like Jonah, we need someone who would boldly give the people God's warning with passion so that we can turn from our evil ways and be saved. It's not to late to have our land healed.
Comment by Rights4Right on May 29, 2012 at 8:05pm Right on! Fortunateson!! Exactly what is needed in the future for every candidate.
And mine points to Sarah Palin.
Comment by Chas Jones on May 29, 2012 at 6:04pm Just watched a clip of Romney saying he needs 50.1 percent of the vote. I hope he means the vote to become the GOP nominee ... and not the popular vote this fall. He does know we have an Electoral College, doesn't he?
