Rebuild America Defeat Obama Tour: Not a Dry Eye in The Place

On the Rebuild America Defeat Obama national bus tour, we finale every rally with “God Bless the USA”. As the song is sung, vets in the audience are invited on stage. At our rally in Saint Clair Shores, MI, a very frail bent-over gentleman, overflowing with dignity, slowly and methodically began making his way to the stage, assisted by his daughter. The old soldier was 92 year old WW II vet, Mr. Roher.

Talk about an amazing moment, there was hardly a dry eye in the audience. Though unspoken, somehow Mr. Roher epitomized the pride, dignity and greatness of America.

The Left relentlessly attempts to brand the Tea Party haters. We are NOT about hate. Quite the opposite. The Tea Party is about love – love for the greatest nation on the planet and a deep desire to restore and preserve it.

A member of our team said Mr. Roher's daughter said she believes her dad is holding on to life until after the election.

The key ploy of the Lib.Dems is to take what is true about themselves and turn it BACK on the Conservatives--

every time! It's bloody gauling, but quite predictable!

God bless Mr. Roher!

I wasn't implying that my daughters and grandchildren are leaning toward communism, in fact, all my family are planning to vote for Romney. They just have had a hard time understanding why the nanny state is a bad thing. They have been pursuaded that kids would starve and go without medical care. Now, after I have talked till I'm blue in the face, they're beginning to see the truth. They have seen through the lies, homes and business lost and work hard to find. They weren't taught in school about Hitler and the atrocities he was responsible for. Now we're on the way to communism, naziism and sheite law with a president that's inviting it to take over our country. I told a daughter to check it out on her computer. He started out by promising freebees to everyone, and making the rich take care of the poor. He divided the Germans using hatred for Jews and Christians. This is only a beginning, but we're seeing it all here.

Lloyd, Can anyone help with this person (a friend) who is an Afghanistan veteran who IMHO is giving veterans a bad name because of his arrogance and anger.  Following was an open conversation on facebook. with the veteran (Gary) and our son in law (Mike)  who are both young adults.  It all started with the picture that I put the link for.  Gary is "rabid" about voting for Obama because he says the Republicans have voted down every bill that has been put before them that is for veterans.  Even though they have all passed like don't ask don't tell.  I was just astounded that a veteran would be so adamant that Dems are more military friendly.  of course if you dispute him at all he wants proof!!  If you don't agree with everything he says he accuses you of not supporting people that were willing to give up their lives for you.  Although we love our veterans and my husband is a vet and we have a niece in the Navy right now we are at a loss of how to respond to him other then just write him off.  Any Advice?

Michael: Don't ask don't tell was repealed, if I'm not mistaken. Has anyone read these bills in their entirety?

Michael: I never said it was Ok or said I agreed. Which jobs act are you referring to? the Jumpstart Our Business Startups act or the american jobs act (S. 1549)? As for veterans, the Vow to Hire Heroes act was passed on Nov. 11, 2011.

Gary: The VOW Act (HR 2433) you say. Ok, that is usually cited in defense of the republican congressional record. Lets look at that... The Hiring our Heroes Act (S. 951) was the first bill introduced. The republican congress had a bit of a problem with it, so some changes were made to the bill and then they produced their new bill. How about some cited specifics of the text? The VOW Act (HR 2433) had the following differences from the Hiring our Heroes Act (S. 951). Cite per "House Committee on Veterans Affairs, 2011". The Vow act, Allowed DoL to provide TAP through contract instructors. ( Pay lots of money to subcontractors to provide little to no assistance to returning vets ) The Vow act, eliminated Vocational Rehabilitation for disabled veterans not eligible for unemployment compensation. ( They got a wheelchair, they don't need anymore help beyond that. BTW, the was in the Hiring our Heroes Act (S. 951) ) The VOW Act (HR 2433) Limits the duties of federally funded, state employees tasked with finding jobs for veterans to assisting veterans. ( Wouldn't want to actually make them responsible for helping vets, now would we? ) The VOW Act (HR 2433) Removed the Job Mentoring Program that was included in the Hiring our Heroes Act (S. 951). ( Job training isn't really that important, right? ) The VOW Act (HR 2433) Removed the authority for wounded service members to use Vocational Rehabilitation services, and the DoD recommended tools for service members to apply for federal positions while on active duty included in The Hiring our Heroes Act (S. 951). ( The disabled veterans didn't really need that help anyways right? ) So what did the VOW Act (HR 2433) do that the Hiring our Heroes Act (S. 951) didn't? That's a good question. The answer is, it revamped "Reemployment Rights" for Guard and Reservists under USERRA, and clarified priority of service for veterans in training offered by DoL. ( That means it raised the level of acceptable disability you could have and still qualify for re-deployment. Normally a disabled vet would be considered to be unable to redeploy due to injuries, but this bill fixed that. Now they can be sent right back in despite already having suffered injury. The second part allows a priority matrix for disabled soldiers. ie, leg blown off with two years in service, versus leg blown off with ten years in service. This provision is very popular with amputees... Which brings us to the last piece. The part that is going to actually get jobs for disabled veterans. The "Tax Break"! Do you know the one thing that the VOW Act (HR 2433) and the Hiring our Heroes Act (S. 951) had in common? There was no tax break. Neither of the bills even mentioned it. The one thing that we know would give vets a hand up in getting a job wasn't even put on the table... Want to know where that came from? That would be The American Jobs Act (S. 1549). The tax breaks set by this act were $5,600 for hiring a veteran, and
$9,600 for hiring a disabled veteran. This bill was soundly defeated by the republican leadership. ( See. S. 1549, TITLE 4, SUBTITLE 3, Repeal of Oil Subsidies for a list of reasons they voted against it) Perhaps that is more of what you were looking for???

Lloyd and your team show up as knowlegeable Americans. Some of the comments here reveal parents angst over schooling that hurts us so much. Unfortunately, that inadequacy is most serious. Yet, some get it; Lloyd did and so do many. My wife and I won the battle over these isues partly because we insisted all seven of them were responsible to see through any false stuff, seek the real facts, stay close to the consistent principles, be aware that many are drawn aside by winds and whiffs of changing ideas. Woodrow Wilson for example, fell stupidly on his chin for the crap coming out of Europe. He helped begin the thick confusions that spread through gullible liberals. Academics, though smart, but like Wilson, seem particularly vulnerable. Tch, Tch

Judy L,

I do not see a fear of socialism or communism in the younger generations.  I am aunt to nine  nieces and nephews, of which only one is voting for Romney.  And, this, even if all my siblings and I are very conservative  .Liberal instruction at school has outdone us. Thank god my own son didn't drink their kool-aid.

GOD bless all the veterans, past and present, who have fought and died for this free country. I believe that GOD has turned his back on the US because of all the unbelievers, false god worship, not obeying His commandments, sexual sickness. As in the Old Testament, We need GOD fearing leaders who will ask GOD for his help.

A snap salute to Mr. Roher and all the military for their service to the nation, millions of us hope and pray for the election results he does.

Thomas Jefferson laied in his death bed for days asking if it was July 4th yet and passed shortly after he was told it was.

I guess some things are just more important.

God Bless the USA is a great song.  Lee Greenwood did not want John McCain to use the song in 2008

because he disagreed with McCain.  Has his opinion changed?  Does he still believe in the Socialist markist

communist islamic anti GOD people that has taken over the Democratic Party.  How many GOD fearing

democrats know what thet are voting for?
