The latest chapter in the saga between the state of Arizona and the Obama regime moves the federal government and perhaps the election itself to unchartered waters. We now have a "president" who is blatantly and willingly declaring he will NOT enforce specific federal laws for the sole purpose of courting the votes of a targeted group of Americans. This is shocking and should be grounds for impeachment.
Homeland Security Director Napolitano's announcement that her agency will ignor calls from Arizona law enforcement authorities regarding their identifying and retaining illegal immigrants speaks of a constitutional crisis and a conflict between the federal goverment and a state not witnessed since the Civil War.
This reaction by Napolitano is far more of a breakdown than Obama's announcement last week that he had ordered her not to deport the children of illegal immigrants. What happens if Sheriff Joe's deputies stop and retain a twenty something year old illegal who had snuck over the border on their own accord three or four weeks ago? Does that illegal just tell the cops his folks brought him in without his knowledge?
If a president gets by with this blatant dereliction of duty, what comes next? Would it be shocking for a future president to announce that no citizen of a non-white race will be prosecuted for violating election laws? Why not have a president announce that persons of a certain race between the age of 55 and 65 would not be prosecuted for Medicare fraud? How about college students who owe student loans will exempt from registering for the draft?
What will law-abiding, tax-paying Arizonans be thinking about now? They're paying the same substantial federal taxes as citizens in other states. Constitutionally, protecting the national border and assuring our soveranty is the number one function of the federal government. At what point do they refuse to pay federal taxes?
It has been said that this election will be about the economy. The economy under this regime is dismal and their business model is basically the same one that has bankrupted much of Europe as well as many of our own cities and states. However, I would encourage all of us to look beyond our wallets, at least somewhat. Remember, Adolph Hitler built up Germany's economy before WW2. A good number of our parents and grandparents and relatives spilled their blood for the very freedoms we enjoy. If this blatant breach of the oath of office is not stopped, largely because of public apathy, we'll cease to exist as a free country. Comment by Ed Stoneham on June 26, 2012 at 7:55pm The COP is making preparations to require key congressmen and senators to commence impeachment and expulsion actions on errant officials like Holder, Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Stark, and probably at least half of the other officials in the federal government. The responsible legislators will carry through on their responsibilities on a tight (2-month) time frame or face arrest for violating their oaths. We believe this is both the high road and the fast track to correcting our rogue mafia of a government. Think of McCarthyism on steroids. In our case, however, the evidence is incontrovertible, and we won't stop until the government is squeaky clean.

Have all of them joined obozo and his band of thieves and thugs. I see no outward sign of any high military official warning about obozo's illegal actions and the lack of brain dead holder enforcing the laws. Where is the Supreme Court in upholding the laws of our Constitution??? It seems there are only three justices that really understand the Constitution and states' rights to defend themselves. I hope Arizona tells obozo, holder and the rest of thieves and thugs to go pi _ _ up a tree and jail the illegals and then build a six foot cement foundation with a high powered fence that will fry any illegal scum breaking the law!!!!!! Let obozo try and send troops into Arizona and see what happens. It is time to defy the arrogant sob!!!

Think eviction, not secession. Think evicting from the Union that strange little foreign country that's called The District of Columbia to which the citizens who live in the fifty states of the real and actual United States of America send massive amounts of foreign aid and from whom we get the treachery of a self-legalized criminal enterprise in return.

That is why he is blocking Fla. from cleaning up there voter rolls. He only cares about keeping his power and the only way he can win is by fraud.

Aaron, I don't think this regime would stop at anything to retain power. To a Marxist, only those high up in the government have a good life, unlike their serfs who blindly follow them. One thing is encouraging however, at least around here - haven't seen an Obama bumper sticker in weeks!
