How dangerous is this?

As the details of this latest scandal leaks out, most Americans haven't a clue how dangerous this state data collection is, especially those of us on the right. I find it more than alarming that this government, that claimed the war on terror was won when Bin Laden was killed and still cannot bring themselves to label the Fort Hood massacre a terrorist act, now claim they need to log the phone calls and emails of EVERY US citizen in order to keep us safe from terrorism.

Assuming the…

Where are the Benghazi survivors?

With all the news being dominated by the sequester and the federal budget battles, the Benghazi scandal has left the front page, at least for now. I caught the interview featuring Utah Congressman Jason Chavetz questioning the whereabouts and State Department seclusion of the survivors of the attack on Benghazi. I send the following memo to both of my Kansas US Senators and my local Congressman:…

A Stained Medallion

At a White House ceremony Monday, February 11, 2013, Retired Army Sergeant Clinton Romesha was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor in a presentation by President Barrack Obama.

Sergeant Romesha is well-deserving of the award for his gallantry in Afghanistan. His roll in fighting off hoards of Taliban fighters and saving his comrades' lives, as well as recovering fallen soldiers bodies, was certainly above the call of duty and he is a true American hero.

One…

What's the difference?!

Like many of us, I was truly appalled by Hillary Clinton's disgusting performance in the Benghazi hearing. The sound bites of the myriad of Democrats using their time to embellish untold praise on Clinton as though she was an angel sent from heaven made me almost embarrassed to be an American, knowing that we have fellow citizens who would actually vote these clowns into office. Her outlandish question of "what's the difference?" is a sound bite that had best become a battle cry for…

Election results don't pass the smell test - LITERALLY

Like many of us conservatives, I am still not over the disappointment and shock of the November national election results. Never in our nation’s history has a sitting President with such a dismal first term record won re-election, and Obama won rather comfortably.

I doing some research, I have found some of the numbers, particularly in several battleground states, not only surprising but almost beyond belief. For my purposes here, I crunched some numbers in the states of Ohio,…

Have we become a banana republic?

Like many Americans of a conservative political orientation, I was shocked at what happened in the US national election. After some reflection of the results, especially in some states, we all must wonder if November 6th, 2012, was a date in which the United States of America became an official banana republic. Almost all of the ingredients needed to maintain a banana republic are now here, things that we all have said over the years could never happen in America.

First, we have a…

LG Chemical a picture of Obama's America

I caught an excellent article posted online by a Michigan TV station that I had to write about. Apparently, there is a Holland, Michigan company, LG Chemical, that was started in 2010 to manufacture lithium-ion batteries for GM, who would use these in the building of Chevy Volts.

This story is truly a synopsis of what America has been like and will continue to be under an Obama administration. The company received over one hundred fifty million in stimulus money via a grant from the…

Benghazi attack will yet be Obama's Achille's heel.

I marveled last evening as I watched the second Presidential debate, particularly how Obama was seemingly prepared to deal with the Benghazi attack and US Ambassador assassination with the administration's claim that Obama himself did declare it as a terrorist attack the very next day. Obviously the Obama campaign had spent hours going over mounds of video and script in an effort to come up with something to cover his behind.

Romney missed an opportunity to further expose this breech…

Military Absentee Voters the Latest National Disgrace

A new report has surfaced by the Military Voter Protection Project that absentee requests are down nationwide by a massive amount over 2008. Are we to believe that military members are not interested in this election, the most important election in their lifetimes and a critical one affecting the military itself?

Given the history of the Democratic Party in working to disallow military ballots at every turn (…

Israelis perilous relationship with the Obama administration

A longtime ally of the United States, the State of Israel has counted on us for their very survival since their founding in the late forties and the US has always supported the Jewish country financially and militarily.

As with many other things, the election of Barrack Obama as US President in 2008 set in motion a series of events that has changed that longtime relationship to one extremely dangerous to Israel. Surrounded by Arab nations that have always hated them, the Israelis have…

Proof once again Democrats CANNOT be trusted with our national security

It is a sad and tragic occurance that we must be reminded once again that Democrats cannot be trusted with our national security no more than they can be trusted with the public checkbook. With the willing cooperation of the DNC Pravda, commonly known as the mainstream press, we have a White House that continues to blame this crisis on a low budget, relatively unknown (until they made it known) video. When someone casually gives one BS, most have a tendency to just laugh it off and refer to…

Population control by tyrants

Throughout world history, there have been many tyrant dictators that have come and gone. While they all have various degrees of blood stains and despair on there hands, there is a thread of commonality among every one.

A first tenant is to control the money, i.e. taking over their nation's banking system. This is always done on the guise of "the common good" and the excuse is always a well-publicised case of banking fraud or abuse, sighting some poor farmer or peasant who was conned…

GOP should make campaign a team sport

As this ugly summer presidential campaign drags on, I think it important for the American people to reflect that in November, we are not just electing a man but a whole administration. For this reason, I think Mitt Romney should line up some of his team in advance and put them on the field.

Consider who some of them will be going against. First, how about Eric Holder? This is the individual who was the force behind the Marc Rich pardon, now the Attorney General who runs Obama's…

Top Down vs Bottom Up Economics

President Obama is on a binge to try and sell America on his "Bottom Up" philosophy on rebuilding our troubled economy. Sticking with his "It's never worked, it didn't work then, and it won't work now" theme, he seems hell bent on attacking those in America who are successful. Maybe they just didn't teach him in Harvard or Columbia Universities basic free enterprise economics. For his benefit, let's keep it simple:…

How Obama Can Win

We're truly witnessing political history happen before our very eyes. Historically, a Democratic President running for re-election would attempt to walk a fine line, placating his base on the left while attempting somewhat to appear capitalistic to the nation's right and center. Slick Willie was a master of the art and it worked for him. The logic, from a Democrats point-of-view, was to get as much of the leftwing base to vote as possible while spintering off a portion of independents and…

Who are these Tea Partiers?

I am always angered by the spot the left keep playing from time to time featuring former Governor Howard Dean's quote, "This year you have these tea partiers. They aren't playing with a full deck....They could go off the rails..."

Mr. Dean, and America as a whole, need to be reminded who these "tea partiers" are. This is a grass roots movement of people who for the most part, have never been politically active in their lives. Most are working age folks who had never been to any type…

Obama now "Mr. Responsibility?"

The Supreme Court’s landmark decision on the mammouth healthcare law set in motion a number of things. Since Chief Justice Roberts declared most of the law constitutional on the theory that it was a “tax”, then theoretically the law could be repealed in the US Senate on a reconciliation simple majority vote. In other words, again theoretically, the GOP would need only 51 votes, not the usual 60, to repeal the bill.

The second thing the court set in motion was to set fire under…

Where is GOP candidate on voter fraud?

I'm upper middle-aged and never in my lifetime have we faced a national election whose outcome will be so critical to the future of the country. It's beyond me how anyone could possibly say they see no difference in the two parties. Should the GOP, hopefully comprised mostly of conservatives, take control of the Federal government, the socialist movement of the Obama/Pelosi/Reid cartel will be set back a generation. Because power in government is everything to these socialists, we should…

Feds vs Arizona: Unchartered waters

The latest chapter in the saga between the state of Arizona and the Obama regime moves the federal government and perhaps the election itself to unchartered waters. We now have a "president" who is blatantly and willingly declaring he will NOT enforce specific federal laws for the sole purpose of courting the votes of a targeted group of Americans. This is shocking and should be grounds for impeachment.

Homeland Security Director Napolitano's announcement that her agency will ignor…

Is it political - Of Course!

Like many of us who watch the news, I am intrigued by this Fast & Furious story and the way the main stream media and certain politicians spin this. It has always been comical to me when any time a sitting congressional committee chair person investigates anything involving another politician, a myriad of opposing politicians cry politics as though it's an automatic knee jerk reaction.

Is there any fair minded citizen out there who doesn't believe that any act in Washington that…
