For the fourth year the East Bay Patriots/Grassroots Groups for Liberty participated in the Bristol 4th of July Parade riding our signature float, "The Beaver", a replica of one of the ships in the original Boston Tea Party. Now is the time, as it was then, to rally and only support political candidates who believe and support the Constitution, who are fiscally conservative, and who represent our core values. We envision a return to a government by the people and for the… Continue

I live in Bristol, RI, home of the largest and longest running 4th of July parade in the Country. I am sharing this amazing video of the Freedom Tree with you because I think the idea and feeling behind it has to be shared. Start this tradition in your home or town! And share your stories! marina

The rest of the world is beginning to see that not all Americans were suckered by hope and change, and the backlash has begun.

I received this letter that I would like to share, regarding the Town of Bristol's withdrawn ordinance.
Yes, it has a little of the David vs. Goliath feeling to it.
We must not underestimate the importance of this little victory, especially to the Tea Party and all folks who value our freedoms and the legacy of the Constitution.
Bristol is a small town. It is run by an arrogant bunch who are used to getting their way, dictating haughtily to people - the… Continue

When necessity calls, we have always provided support for one another. With that in mind, I would like to reach out and request some help for a candidate for Governor in RI.
RI is a one-party state. We are hoping that things will change on this year’s Election Day.
We have a man running for Governor who is EXACTLY right for the times. He is NOT a career politician. He has served his country as a paratrooper in the Army. He has worked in employee and labor relations for ten… Continue
