9/11 AND THE GROUND ZERO MOSQUE

I was going to write a great blog today, I really was. But as happens so frequently these days, the more I research, the more I get sidetracked by information I uncover along the path—information I find too disturbing to be true. Then, the story I want to write becomes ten and insurmountable.

I was going to talk about the lunacy of the proposed Ground Zero mosque. I was going to go into detail about how the Sept. 11 attacks on the WTC buildings by radical Muslims killed more of our…

Just Fine 'Em, Right?

Whether we’re talking about BP unleashing an environmental catastrophe in the Gulf of Mexico, a manufacturer in China who makes a child’s toy that contains lead paint, or looming Cap and Trade, many of us follow the pattern of logic that when business or industry “wrongs” us, our government should step in and “fine ‘em.” It seems fair.

Fine. But where exactly does the money go?

Well, in the case of both the $16.4 million penalty against Toyota…

Taxed Enough Already? Really?

You’re familiar with sales taxes.

But do you want to know how bad taxes can really be? Come live in the Northeast U.S.—or better yet, read this, stay where you are, resist higher taxes and crazy government spending, and learn about mill rates without having to endure them:

Mill rates are part of an ad valorem (property tax) system in use in many areas of New England. Mill has a traditional meaning of “millage rate,” but it also means… Continue

The Fight is Before Us

It has been a sad couple of days for the U.S. Constitution, patriots. Many of us are still reeling from the unprecedented edict emanating from our tyrannical government which has mandated that we now surrender our Constitutionally-guaranteed liberties and purchase a product—healthcare.

Let me assure you—this mandate is unprecedented in American history. Pundits will say that this ruling is just like the mandate to purchase collision insurance if you have a vehicle.… Continue

Kill the Bill!

Saturday's gathering in D.C. was incredible! By mid-day, 40-50 thousand Patriots from across America had already converged on the West Lawn of the nation's Capitol to protest Obamacare.

Patriots entered House buildings and spoke to Reps and aides, communicating their displeasure both with Obamacare and at not being heard. From the lawn throughout the day the cry went up, "Kill the bill! Kill the bill! Kill the bill!"

Speakers…

Victims of Communism

Socialist ideas are all the rage these days, but many people forget that Socialist-driven Communism has destroyed more human life than any other ideology, including Nazism.

That over 100 million people were murdered in Communist genocides is an inconvenient truth to some, but for the rest of us, we can view the U.S. Government-run foundation dedicated to the Victims of Communism here.

You…

The Pledge of Allegiance Upheld!

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - A federal appeals court upheld the use of the words "under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance and "In God We Trust" on U.S. currency, rejecting arguments Thursday that the phrases violate the separation of church and state.

The verdict, delivered on March 11, 2010 emanates from the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals—the extremely politically liberal appellate court… Continue

What to Do With an FCD?

Shocking, though it may seem, some House Democrats are apparently fiscally-Conservative. Representative Ann Kirkpatrick from Arizona’s first district has recently introduced legislation that would cut pay for members of Congress.

Under the “Taking Responsibility for Congressional Pay Act,” Kirkpatrick…

. . . as President, I will recognize the Armenian Genocide

“America deserves a leader who speaks truthfully about the Armenian genocide and responds forcefully to all genocides,” candidate Barack Hussein Obama said on 1/19/08. “I intend to be that president.”

So Armenians, full of hope that their suffering would at last gain the respect and recognition of its rightful place in history, embarked upon the Obama Presidency with every reason to be upbeat.…

Contact Information for "Swing Representatives" in the House

Here's a list of thirty "swing-Representatives" in the U.S. House of Representatives (111th Congress) who will not always agree with the President's viewpoints. Included is email and Washington addresses/phone numbers.

I am told a short, respectful hand-written note is often wise, as it is physical, unlike email, and must be read by a human being. Computers cannot read the handwriting as they can the type, so your views are likely to be…

Obama's Socialism

Recently on "The O'Reilly Factor," Bill O'Reilly seemed very concerned about President Obama being described as a socialist by members of the right such as Rush Limbaugh. O'Reilly has often dodged calling the president a socialist, as if doing so would condemn Obama as a tyrannical dictator. It was discussed throughout the show with various guests, and O'Reilly frequently stated that yes, Obama is a far-left guy, but he didn't want to use the actual term "socialist." It would…

Time for America to Act on Iran

It is becoming increasingly clear that President Obama's policies toward Iran have failed and that disaster is in the offing. President Obama began his relationship with the radical mullahs in Iran determined to show that he represented a new America and that he was truly seeking friendship between the two nations. This has proven to be dreadfully misguided. Continue . . .

The Eureka Rebellion

The Eureka Rebellion took place on December 3, 1854 and has been Australia's only civil insurrection.

Extend the Fight!

Many of us have witnessed the watering-down and omission that goes on in American public schools. Others have arrived at this conclusion independently. Some see it as emblematic of America’s woes and a portent for the future. Well, I share your frustration. But what to do to fix education? What to do to fix America?…

A Fine Speech

Let’s recall for a moment a speech swelling with grand flourishes of hope and change that noted the hard work required not only of a President, but also of a nation—no, not the recent State of the Union Address, but Barack Obama’s Inaugural Address. Yes, over a year ago, in some of his first words to the American public as our President, Obama said:

As we consider the role that unfolds before us, we remember with humble gratitude those brave Americans who at this very hour… Continue

Still Want To Try KSM in the USA?

For anyone still convinced that trying the confessed (and almost-convicted) terrorist mastermind Khalid Shekh Mohammed and his 9/11 crew in New York City with Miranda rights is better than doing so at Gitmo . . .

And for anyone yet unconvinced of the stone-cold tone deafness of the current administration, pay specific attention to Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton's take on the reasoning behind the… Continue
