Social Security - HE!! NO!

Mom and Dad taught me it was wrong to steal.  And by extension, it's wrong to accept stolen property.  (lol, you know where this is going, but please read to the end)  President Johnson, a Democrat, took SS out of the lock-box and put it into the general fund.  Today it is all gone.  Personally I think everyone who voted for this should be in jail and their assets redristributed to SS recipients.  That wont happen.  So I'm thinking, I'm almost 63, do I put aside my morals and claim…

The Challenge Made

My friends, my fellow patriots, we are men and women from different places in life. Some of us have children and grand children. We have families we cherish. We worship differently and share many ethnicities. We do not judge people for we know it is not our place. We long for an America of myth, of times long past. We yearn for the freedom to worship as we will, to say what we want without fear of reprisal, to pursue our choice of happiness with minimal interference from an increasingly… Continue

How a Republic Dies

by Diane Rufino, December 30, 2013

It appears no tragedy, no matter how horrendous, is to be allowed to “go to waste” as Rahm Emmanuel would say.…

Found - A Diamond among the Slag Heap!

I have the sense that I’ve just discovered the needle – or at least a needle, in the proverbial haystack. A field reporter inside the belly of the beast – the legacy, political, corporate media, that has actually dared to contradict that media’s anointed President and his administration.

It’s a little shocking to hear what I’m hearing from anyone drawing a paycheck from CBS News. You might remember the name Lara Logan. She’s the young woman, who while in Egypt, covering the…

Life Choices

Eliminating undesirable people and prickly political minorities has been practiced by despotic governments for a long time. Our human history is replete with governments’ eliminating certain sectors of their own populations or slaughtering opponents in their villages and in their beds. Some people may be uncomfortable with this historical perspective and suggest that in our enlightened times, such butchery is no longer accepted. That attitude, Dear Reader, is what is known as a “pipe dream.”…
