Anyone tempted to ignore the 2010 Census will have a tough time doing it — especially if they have kids in school.
The government has launched Census in Schools, an all-out campaign targeting superintendents, principals, teachers, students and, indirectly, parents, as schools open across the nation this month and next. The message: The Census is coming and here's why everyone…

Obama’s Well Organized Community Is Falling Apart
Obama has now become a noose around the neck of every American Democrat!
By JB Williams
It’s now official—the average American is not as stupid as Washington DC Democrats and their international leftist friends thought. Their mystery messiah has already gone from hero to zero after only seven months in power, and Obama has now become a noose around the neck of every American Democrat, and every… Continue

An AP story came out today that started off with "The economy shrank at an annual rate of 1 percent in the spring, a better-than-expected showing and more evidence that the recession is drawing to a close." If that's the case, then someone needs to tell our president because I don't think he got the memo.
A story that came out just two days ago stated "U.S. unemployment will surge to 10 percent this year and the budget deficit will be $1.5 trillion next year, both higher than…

Rubio Rising: The Florida GOP has a new star
By John J. Miller
Florida governor Charlie Crist is running for the Senate, and he isn't supposed to lose - let alone lose in the Republican primary. He enjoys a high approval rating, has a history of success among voters, and raises campaign cash with the intensity of a Category 5 hurricane. His main opponent in the GOP primary is Marco Rubio, a 38-year-old Miami native who quotes Snoop Dogg lyrics on…

A Call to Arms
Ladies & Gentlemen,
Our country, our way of life & our Constitution is under attack, from liberalism.
Liberalism is full of good intentions with disastrous results.
For too long, Americans have been told we need to be compassionate, we need to be understanding,
we need to tolerate liberalism in the name of fairness.
American are, by their very nature, caring, compassionate, tolerant & decent…

Israeli Psychologist on Obama
Be sure to read all the way to the end. He is for real.
Dr. Sam Vaknin is an Israeli psychologist. Interesting view on our
new president. Dr. Vaknin has written extensively about narcissism.
Dr. Vaknin States "I must confess I was impressed by Sen.Barack
Obama from the first time I saw him. At first I was excited to see
a black candidate. He looked youthful, spoke well, appeared to be

I'm really glad to be here. Where is Franklin in TN - east, west, ? I am keeping open to the idea of moving to East TN when my family business is concluded. That will probably take a long time - but the thought is definitely here. I went to school in NC, so that's a possibility also, and VA Beach VA interests me as well. So I'm looking at all 3; time will tell which is the best for me. I'm really happy to see a TN girl on this site - I was raised by a Southern mother in So. CA, so I was raised…

One million NHS patients have been the victims of appalling care in hospitals across Britain, according to a major report released today
In the last six years, the Patients Association claims hundreds of thousands have suffered from poor standards of nursing, often with 'neglectful, demeaning, painful and sometimes downright cruel' treatment.
The charity has disclosed a horrifying catalogue of elderly people left in pain, in soiled bed clothes, denied adequate… Continue

Democratic Health Care Bill Divulges IRS Tax Data
One of the problems with any proposed law that's over 1,000 pages long and constantly changing is that much deviltry can lie in the details. Take the Democrats' proposal to rewrite health care policy, better known as H.R. 3200 or by opponents as "Obamacare
Section 431(a) of the bill says that the IRS must divulge taxpayer identity information, including the filing status, the modified adjusted gross… Continue

Quote of the Day: The government called three accountants to testify. The defense asked each one, "What is the proper way to calculate income for purposes of the Internal Revenue Code if you are paid in a gold coin that has a $50 face value on it?" All three of them responded, "I do not know; I'll have to research that." -- Mike Zigler, reporting on the 2007 case against Robert Kahre that ended in a hung jury
Subject: How can legal tender be illegal?
Robert Kahre is facing…

Hello All,
I attended Bart Gordon's Face-To-Face meeting at 9:00 am yesterday (8/26/09). It looked as though there were about 100 or so there. I was handed a card with #53 written on it at the door so I expected a long wait. It took about three and a half hours before I was able to go speak with him. Fortunately there were several folks there I was able to speak with to kill the time while I waited. The only reason it didn't take longer is that people decided to form groups. (Isn't…

... the pay advantage enjoyed by federal civilian workers over private-sector workers continues to expand.
The George W. Bush years were very lucrative for federal workers. In 2000, the average compensation (wages and benefits) of federal workers was 66 percent higher than the average compensation in the U.S. private sector. The new data show that average federal compensation is now more than double the average in the private sector.
What is going on here? Members of…
