The healthcare issue is very important to our household. My wife has stage 4 breast cancer and was considered to be terminal, that was over 1 yr. ago. Thanks to having the choice of our own private insurance she was able to recieve treatment evan when Doctors told her it would not help her. They were wrong. Government run healthcare may have listened to the Doctors or told the Doctors she was a waste of funds. So, I want to thank everyone fighting for our personal rights.

Two stories I read today just had me livid. One involves a 16 year old high school student named Heather Lawrence. Heather, a student at Springstead High School in Spring Hill, Florida, is in the school's Junior ROTC program and plans on enlisting in the Army. I'm so glad to find a site where other like minded people are sharing thoughts and opinions. I used to think of myself as middle of the road leaning left on one or two issues. All that began to change when I went back to school to earn my Masters Degree and teaching credential.
