Ebola in New York; Why Borders Matter

Ebola is now in New York City. According to ABC News:

http://abcnews.go.com/Health/ebola-patient-york-city-hospital/story?id=26406430

"A New York doctor who recently returned from West Africa has tested positive for Ebola and is being isolated at a Manhattan hospital, city and state officials said Thursday night.

The doctor, who has been… Continue

In an article posted at American Thinker on Sunday, Doris O'Brien argues for "ratcheting down the RINO rhetoric". http://www.americanthinker.com/2014/10/ratchet_down_the_rino_rhetoric.html This argument rears it's serpentine head every election cycle, but is it actually a rational argument?

O'Brien is understandably worried about the upcoming Presidential elections, and… Continue

And when they finally got to it they hired a…

If you know someone, then can you refer them to me.  I wrote a book about the grand jury, and there are certain "tricks" that the prosecutor will pull.   I'm prepared for this.   If the grand jury can learn (through a "Petition") of their power, then they can get to the bottom of it.

If someone from the Tea Party initiates a "Petition", it will really hurt the stupid, "Race Baiting" that this could turn into.

Feel free to send someone my number:  530-598-9671   Someone in Ferguson.

And....   it should be noted that if the officer is in the "clear", a grand jury will clear the officer.  It has happened a few times in Jackson County Oregon.

Timothy:

Are you close to Fergeson?   I would be glad to help you with a "Petition" to a grand jury.  Missouri has a constitutional provision very favorable to the grand jury investigating the Brown murder by a police officer.   I am aware of the tricks that those in law enforcement will pull to prevent your "Petition" to a grand jury.  I can be reached  at danielfsimon@yahoo.com

Good Morning Mr. Birdnow,

Thank you for your comments and the dialogue.  I think blogs such as this are needed.  As I had mentioned, they make my blood boil, not because I feel smeared, but because sadly, they are often all too true - as was yours.  I cannot disagree with anything you said in your blog.

It is true though, that the vast majority of officers are good people who serve with honor and integrity.  In most cases, we (The good ones) cannot have a voice.  In a sense, as officers, we often to lose our first amendment rights, and the right to speak out in our own defense.  The majority of the time, our voice is the rediculous and often disgusting acts of those in our police community whose actions smear us.  They cast a huge shadow that guys like me often feel is impossible to get out from under.  So, we just quietly do our part to right huge wrongs, one person, one call, one contact at a time.

It gets to a point for us where we are often afraid to say anything our of fear of what may happen to us.  Honestly, I was hesitant to respond to your blog because I know I am kind of sticking my neck out career wise.  I once commented on an article presented in "Clash Daily by Doug Giles," regarding gun control.  I was commenting because I wanted people to know that the majority of us in law enforcement see "Gun Control" for what it is - a pathetic liberal lie and nothing but an effort by the left to disarm good people and make us "Subjects ruled by the government, " rather than "Citizens our government answers to."  I posted statistics from a poll done on a police website that showed that over 80% of police officers nationwide oppose gun control and would not enforce it.  I received an email from Doug Giles saying he loved my post and requested he be allowed to put it on his website.  I said that was fine.  Apparently, it received a lot of attention and ended up on various other sites well.  I was warned to, "Be careful about what I say," because, "You never know who is watching."

But I have strong beliefs, beliefs that I stand by and sometimes, the guys like me need our side spoken as well.  Like I said in my post, if push ever comes to shove, the majority of officers will be standing with you and our brother and sister citizens, shoulder to shoulder, determined to keep our title as Citizens of the United States of America, not Subjects to the United Socialist States of America.

God Bless you my friend.  Keep the faith and keep up the dialogue.
