If meetings get to be boring and predictable, you will see membership drop off in time. It's happening all over. I will be happy to send you a file of Constitution lessons that I have colaced from the Constitution Study Group here, if you would like to distribute them to your membership on a montly basis, maybe a part of the newlestter format, or you can cover them at each monthly meeting, if you wish.
Thomas, good to see you have a group. I see you have met Kathleen. I have a few suggestions for you, sir.
1. Do not make your meetings boring by always scheduling speeches. People sign up to DO things, not to sit passively and listen to someone else's opinion. They are coming in looking for guidance from you to help them DO something.
When they sign up, give them a menu of options like (1) working to increase your chapter's membership, (2) learning the Constitution, (3) working on elections. Put out a monthly newsletter.
