We the people still have a choice in this election.Regardless of what the media is saying and who is (or is not) on the ballot, we have the ability to WRITE IN the candidate of our own choosing.  You…Continue

Quite a bit has been said about the faux pas that took place on Jimmy Fallon's show and I think that we need to be careful here.  While we are offended by this, how many of us really would have known…Continue

Why Not?

Ever since the election of Barack Hussein Obama, the GOP has been scrambling to come up with a candidate which 'they' deem electable.  It is my firm belief that the only thing that remotely saved the McCain campaign was Sarah Palin. In the last several years, I've been constantly told that "Palin is unelectable because she's too conservative".In the last several years, I've been constantly told that Bachmann is unelectable because she's too conservative.Any real honest-to-goodness conservative…See More

Cain Drops out of Republican Primary

I am truly sick and tired of the liberals and their tactics:http://content.usatoday.com/communities/onpolitics/post/2011/12/herman-cain-announcement-/1Slime came oozing from all directions at the thought of a conservative black man potentially winning the GOP nomination.  Where did the slime come from?  It is anybody's guess.  Perhaps "The Donald" could throw some of his…See More

NBC Apologizes and the First Amendment

Quite a bit has been said about the faux pas that took place on Jimmy Fallon's show and I think that we need to be careful here.  While we are offended by this, how many of us really would have known what that song even was when it was played?  I know for a fact that I wouldn't have recognized it because I choose not to listen to that type of music.  The fact that the band leader tweeted about it prior to the event further proves the sheer arrogance of the progressives and their "useful…See More

OWS is Living Proof of the "Dumbing Down of America"

Back in the late 1970's, my father warned us of this plan that was referred to as the "Dumbing Down of America". As time went on and we watched children graduating from high school with less than average skill sets, little to no reasoning skills, horrific grammar, terrible spelling and no basic math skills.  It has become abundantly clear that this truly was not a conspiracy theory. Fast forward to 2011 and take a look at the OWS protestors vs the average American.  1.   My friends and…See More

The Ignorance (or weakness) of Government at All Levels

Ok - let me start by saying that this is not an election related post.  It is just further proof of how weak we have allowed our government to become at all levels. I live in a small borough in Western Pennsylvania.  In this borough are quite a few plans that have "home owner associations".  Apparently a resident of one of these plans was not taking "proper" care of his yard causing his neighbors to complain.  The owner of the property is a professor at CMU (yes, that's Carnegie Mellon…See More

Even Young Republicans Get It

CNN has an article on their web-site with the title "Controversy erupts over Campus Republicans bake sale plans" You can check out the article for yourself but in a nutshell, CNN is trying to make young republicans look foolish when in fact, they are being quite astute in their power of observation.  The young republicans have pretty much priced their baked goods according to "affirmative…See More

The Stench of the Skeletons in Washington DC

After reading Alan Caruba's wonderful piece about cliche' man, my head is about ready to explode from all of the tactics of the left so please allow me to vent and I welcome ALL comments to this post.  If you're a liberal; BRING IT ON because this dog is ready to go straight for your metaphorical jugular vein.  Make no mistakes here, I have intentionally not capitalized any of the players and/or their so-called religions because I've lost even the last iota of respect for the lot of them. Let's…See More

A Rose By Any Other Name...

Liberal, progressive, socialist, left-wing, RINO or even neo-con?  Why are we not calling this entire mentality what it was originally known as?  What we are witnessing and experiencing is communism "straight up" (thank you, Janeane Garofalo for the most wonderful expression, lol).  From the 1963 congressional archives, A. Sydney Herlong (D-Florida) gave a presentation in which he had discovered the current goals of the communist party.  They are listed below along with some of my…See More

The REAL Difference between Liberals and Patriots

Did anybody catch Daryl Hannah's arrest during a protest in Washington DC?  When I saw the piece on Fox News, I literally busted out laughing as it clearly displayed the primary difference between liberals and patriots.  You can see the story here:  http://video.foxnews.com/v/1137555972001/daryl-hannah-arrested   According to the story "dozens attended the protest"... Taken from the above video, I…See More

Your comment re labor tells me you were an adult when JFK famously jawboned a price control onto the steel industry without requiring any concession from labor.  While neither would be regarded as in his job description as outlined in the US Constitution, it did put the modernization of their processes on hold long enough to send the business offshore and condemn Pittsburgh to decades of what you could  call "clean air bereft of industrial jobs".
