Are You?Donald Vastlik said… I am a Dam Yankee. That is someone from the Morth that moved to the South. The term is used in jest. Have been in Corinth for 35 years moving from Oak Park, Illinois. This area was a major factor in the Civil war. Twenty nine thousand were killed in the Battle of Shilow/Corinth battle over a 2 day period 150 years ago. We just had a reanactment with 9,000 reinacters which included troops coming in by train from Oaklhoima and by water on the Tennessee river with Grant. There were 160 cannons, cavalry, wagons etc. All uniforms for reanactments are made in Corinth. The attendence was 35,000. Sorry to bloviate but I think it's interesting.
Donald Vastlik said… Sharon, I was not mad but only expressed my feelings. I would not have selected Romney but he has a spotless background. He is to the left of my position but a vast improvement to Obama. I will continue to work with the Tea Party and we have a strong Mississippi network. The Tea Party meets with our governor on a regular basis in our capital. We were able to get Republican control with our Senate, House, and Administration for the the first time in the last 135 years. There is still to do but it's a good start.

Lizzie said… Did you mean "The Handmaid's Tale" by Margaret Atwood? The funny thing was, she used mainstream Christianity as the villains' motivation... in the liberal world, this is the quickest substitute for character development, as liberals never really think about Christianity.
