Are you kidding me? Isn't Harry Reid an infidel?
The Senate Leader just finished detailing his family of females, a wife of over 50 yrs, a daughter, & 9 granddaughters...he began his speech on the floor today with this geneology, to knock the Republicans' plan to stop federal funding to Planned Parenthood. He stated that the women of his family would not be able to get blood pressure & cholestorol & cancer screenings, nor mammograms, if the Republicans have their way. …
ContinueI understand your position on Rubio. I really want to like him and I'm really trying. It's just that he's making it very difficult. He describes Amnesty, but then calls it something else. Although he "says" that his plan isn't Amnesty, when you look at the detail of how he lays it out, that's exactly what it is. He just wants to implement it differently and call it by a different name.
In Texas, our constitution prohibits an income tax. So when Rick Perry decided that he wanted to implement a corporate income tax, he called it a franchise tax. But that doesn't change the fact that it's still an income tax and just because Rubio says that his plan is not Amnesty doesn't change the fact that it forgives the illegals of their crime.
Let's face it. Illegal aliens have clearly demonstrated their "CONTEMPT" for the law, just by being here illegally. We have enough of our own criminals, already. We don't need to be importing more criminals and giving them either residence or citizenship, as a reward for having broken our laws for decades.
We should welcome those who have had the patience to stand in line and do it the legal way. They are demonstrating their "RESPECT" for our laws. Sure, it's not an easy process. But the fact that they are willing to go through that process helps prove that they won't get over here and go on the dole. If they have worked that hard to get here, they will not be inclined to throw it all away. That's the kind of foreign workers that we want and need; not the wetbacks, who think that the laws shouldn't apply to them.
Any comprehensive immigration plan should include a provision that states that if you have EVER been determined by law enforcement, to be in the USA illegally, then you have a criminal record that precludes you from EVER obtaining citizenship or permanent residence in the USA, under any conditions.
It wouldn't be so bad if Rubio had just admitted that his plan amounts to Amnesty. In that case, he would have committed only one breach against conservatism. But by saying that it isn't Amnesty, he is committing another breach against conservatism, by lying about it. To me, the lies are worse than supporting Amnesty. I haven't given up on Rubio... yet. But he's certainly on very thin ice, with me.
I sent an email to Sen. Ted Cruz (TX), who is a take-no-hostages conservative and also of Cuban descent, asking him to go talk some sense into Rubio. It would be a shame to lose yet another conservative to the RINO establishment, especially in Florida.

I don't try and convince them, I just tell them what's up.
True enough they are brain washed..and worse! I see them as products of kids who have been abducted-mentally and emotionaly and are part of cult mentality; to go agasnt the grain is to be punished...alienated or worse..grades devalued et cet.
Once I realize that this is like a "debriefing", I can just lay out information like we have here in CA. "Repbulican Party vs. Democrat Party" and it's bulleted and point out where and why Rep. are for less taxes and why Demo's ar for taxes.
Then I listen to them! Where are they coming from? What do they think?
Most think that more taxes are good because they support and provide more social groups that help people and that Rep. are greedy and want it all for themselves.
OK. Then I point out all the $$ obam awates on his multi-millions $$ vacations, his buy-outs to his supporters, his squandering on Solandra..bad decision making. So wher eis all the so called "social benefits?"
They don;t know, so I let them answer that for themselves.
I only present it. I only challenge them to think, seek and know for themselves. If they think that Obama is going to pay for their school--student loans...who do they think will pay for the next group when they get out? And where are the jobs?
I don't mean to take their Demo crutch away form them..if I did, they think they'll fall. That's an insecurity for them.
They need to be lifted up and over to better thinking...something they're not used to doing, but it's doable.
If I lay out info that says.."EXECUTIVE ORDER 10998 allows the government to take over all food>resoruces and farms...
and continue down the line of all of Obama's government take overs...and they see there is nothing left...but the real tyrannny of blind obedience...and compare that to Nazi, Germany, then what are they looking forward to in their future?
The adds amazing emphasis on the differences between the Parties:
Republican's = Less Government
Democrtats= More Government
They need to see that this is in place already and it;'s not the dream they hoped for, any more than the past 4 years is the dream they hoped for..it's more of a nightmare and it;s right there to see!
Obamacare is nothing more than the ultimate government intrusion and invasion into every aspects of people's lives...with no choice for them to make. What part of "tyranny" don;t they understand except they can't' imagine it, so they can't believe it.
I'm getting hot on this because even if they cannot imagine it or believe it..I CAN and I;m not going to let others, nor myself be dragged into the pits of hell because they can't precieve it.
When I was in journnalism in college, we have a slogan,
Make People See
Make People Care
Make People Understand
If we doubt ourselves by putting the power in the hands of those we hope to make see, care and understand, we lose. If we believe and see and know...and go ahead anyway...WE win
