Welcome, Richard, to the Constitution Study Group! To get started, please read, The Rules posted at the top of the page and then, "1. FOR NEW MEMBERS & OTHERS", in the Discussion Forum on our Page. [Click on "view all" to see all the Discussions].
Best way to get started is to start reading the Discussions. Some are numbered, read those in order. Then read the others as you have time. There is also good stuff on the "Wall" as you get time! Glad to have you in the class!

Usually in the evenings--send me an e-mail @ confederated3@netscape.net and I will forward you the info I have, as well as some other related stuff.  I will send your email info to our communications director and get you on our list so you can recieve the updates we send out regarding pending legislation & actions, etc., and contact info for your reps.,if you so desire. We are in a crisis situation, IMHO, in this republic, and in great danger from WITHIN.  The actions of every single Patriot are more important now than at just about any other time in our history.  I don't believe I overstate that fact.  I'm glad to know you.  We've got a lot of work to do, and a short time to do it in.---Jim

Hi Richard---Yes to your question "am I actively involved in a TEA Party".  I am vice-chairman of Tea Party of Gilmer County-www.teapartygc@ellijay.com.  I am also active on this site blogging and commenting, and active also on http://teapartyorg.ning.com blogging, and a weekly presence on their Tea Party Radio, which just happens to be on tonight @ 9 p.m. EST.  Go to the website for further info, or you can call in @ 1-646-200-4032.  I will forward you info on other Georgia Tea Parties, but primarily the bigger more active ones are TEA Party of Dawson County, Pickens County Tea Party, Murray County Tea Party ( I think that one is "Patriots") plus a few others.  Will send further info.  Time is short right now as the show is going on in less than an hour...Jim

Hello Richard!  Are you by any chance able to come to our meeting in Jasper on April 30?  It is going to be quite the event with some prominent national folks speaking, can't say who for sure just yet, not all confirmations are in.  Sponsored by Americans for Prosperity, it is a day-long Saturday event with break-out groups, training session, info-sessions etc. The North Georgia TEA Party groups are ganging up on this one, should be great.
