Thanks for hanging in, Judy C.  Let's turn that anger aside and redirect the energy it takes, understanding that as dire as we may believe that things are, it takes time to turn around the numbers of people we need to turn around.  I'm talking about the people who think pretty much as we do.  The Left is good at capitalizing on apocalyptic events (if that's not an overly dramatic term), like the storm just prior to the last election.  It might take something such as that to turn our forces in the right direction, in unity.

So GOOOH didn't work.  Next.

I may be wrong, but I believe that ultimately we will be a "third" party -- but not for long.  There are many things that nearly all conservatives can get behind, and they are important things that would represent huge change in the right direction.  When our numbers finally understand that once we replace the RINO establishment, if we're successful in that, the GOP party rules still work against our maintaining that power or achieving conservative policy goals.  Eventually, if we'll understand that we need updated party rules and freedom from the Democrat shills running the GOP at present, we'll form that new party.  When we form that party, who will remain with the phonies?  I think very few.  I also believe that representing real conservative action with policy successes to match, we'll reel in the independents.  That will spell the end of the GOP and it won't take long.

As for splitting the vote?  What does that matter when 2 million sit out the election as things stand?  I think that's a vacant argument from those afraid to let go of the past -- and that past hasn't been that great for conservatives or the United States.  It's also disinformation -- a red herring -- spread by the Left and their allies (they would term it "conventional wisdom") to prevent the formation of that party and the unification of conservatives.  The reality is that most of us, including Democrat voters, live our personal lives as conservatives.  It's just that those in power and their complicit media present our lives otherwise.

In all, we have to work on first unifying conservatives under a single set of goals.  The single-issue voters will always be out there, but the Democrats have them too.  If we shoot for the main body of conservatism, we'll win.

In my view, Marco Rubio is exceedingly suspect as a "conservative".  He says the Tea Party will never unify and if it does, it won't last.  If we do that as Republicans, I agree with him due to the GOP rules.  However, I also believe that it's Rubio's wish that the Tea Party fails.  Let's prove him wrong.
