Should Santorum Drop Out?

Posted on April 4, 2012 at 12:32am 179 Comments

After Romney's trifecta today, the calls for Santorum to drop out are becoming stentorian. Should Santorum drop out of the race?

It's his call. He is the candidate. He has to make that decision. But let's look at what he has to be concerned about.

As of this evening:

  • Romney just won a trifecta, capturing EVERY available delegate tonight, which gives him tremendous momentum, going into Pennsylvania.
  • There…

By The Numbers - Can Romney be Stopped?

Posted on March 28, 2012 at 1:07am 7 Comments

Both Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum are now effectively out of the race for the GOP nomination. But they stay in the race, for the sole purpose of attempting to deny Romney the nomination.

Can they do that?

The answer is in the numbers and I'll get to that.

Unlike honorable GOP candidates in past primaries, who have nobly exited the race, when it became obvious that they could not win, both Gingrich and Santorum have have expressed a commitment to harass the likely…

Not Enough Delegates

Posted on March 11, 2012 at 2:14am 117 Comments

It's effectively "Game Over."

The numbers tell the story.

After today's vote (March 10), baring a cataclysmic change in the principles of mathematics, there are just not enough delegates left for any candidate but Romney to win the GOP nomination. Oh sure, "technically," Santorum or Gingrich "could" pull off a miracle. But the numbers are so overwhelming that it really would take a miracle.

Consider that after today, there 30 more contests yet to be held, representing a…

Exclusive: Obama/ACORN Plan Idiot-Proof Ballots

ActionAmerica has uncovered a secret plan by the Obama Administration, in conjunction with ACORN, to require "idiot proof" electronic ballots to be placed at polling places this November, in areas where Democrat voting strength is marginal or where voter intelligence is known to be low. Under this plan, Obama would…

Hi John,

Just a note on Rubio: he's no conservative.  Once again, it's just Fox and the Republican Establishment trying to convince us of that.  He's instead a young man with no meaningful private sector experience, who is following in the footsteps of people like John McCain.  He favors amnesty, the DREAM Act and has slammed Michele Bachmann, along with a full complement of other RINOs, knowing that she faces a tough re-election campaign in Minn. this year.  He's not on our side. http://www.therightscoop.com/marco-rubio-throws-bachmann-and-other-gop-under-the-bus-over-letter-about-huma-abedin/

John - The reason the paper back version and the Kindle version are not linked is due to the "Volume One" attached to the paper back listing.  That is being removed, which will allow them to be linked as they should.  The other one you see has to remain since it sold a few units under the original title  ----- A "Comprehensive" Citizen's Guide.  I re-published an edited version dropping the word "Comprehensive".

Thanks for your comments.

Hello John. I’m Glad We’re Fellow Tea Party Nation Members -

Why do we continue to allow the Federal Government to have the power to tax and borrow to raise money? (Article I, Section 8, Paragraphs 1 & 2 of the Constitution, plus the 16th Amendment.)

For over 80 years the Federal Government’s irresponsibility with money has been beyond comprehension.

With such easy access to money through taxation and borrowing, what incentive do "the Feds" have to spend carefully? None whatever. The hard, cold facts of over 80 year’s experience confirms this beyond any doubt.

There is a proposal on the table to shift to a States-based system for funding Federal expenditures and in the process ending the Federal Government’s power to tax and borrow.

The CONSTITUTIONAL SUPPORT TAX (the CST) is that proposal. The website is

www.constitutionalsupporttax.net. Please read it

.

In summary the CST does the following:

1. The power to levy Taxes, Imposts and Excises Congress currently has would be repealed from Article 1 Section 8, paragraph 1 of the Constitution, along with the 16th Amendment.

2. Paragraph 2, giving Congress power to borrow money would also be repealed.

3. Once Congress sets the Federal Budget each year, the Budget will be divided among the States by a formula that is fair to all States. This five-part formula is explained on the website in the HOW IT WORKS section.

4. At the State level, the people and State officials would decide how to pay their State's mandatory share of the Budget.

By using the States as a critical checkpoint on the flow of money into "the Feds" coffers, We the People will have much greater control over the Federal Government. Please see details of how the CST will work on the website,

www.constitutionalsupporttax.net.

Political pressure point 4 of 8 in the PRESSURE POINTS section is key to reining in Federal expansionism. Point 4 of 8 will create a whole new, on-going structure to keep Federal spending and the Federal/State relationship within the parameters the Founders envisioned when drafting the Constitution.

With uncontrolled, unlimited access to America's income and wealth through taxation and borrowing, the whole U.S. Government has no incentive to restrain spending. The 89th Military Air Wing (with much over use of Air Force One) is just one of thousands of examples.

Overspending will go on, and on, and on until this uncontrolled, unlimited access is ended. Period.

Please take some time to re-read this e-mail and the read the website. Let it "mentally digest."

If you like what you read, please forward this e-mail to your friends and contacts on Patriot networks and other places.

Feel free to contact me with any questions.

If you convinced all the tea party groups in your area to support you, how many members would that involve in that district?  If each tea party member agreed to a $25.00 donation to your campaign, how much would that give you?  You know there will be some that will give more and some that cannot give any, but that is a good start.  Adds up to over 1 million.  How much do you need to run?  Especially if the campaign runs more on principle.  In the Arlington group, there is a man by the name of Craig Owenby that runs campaigns for a living.  Sit down and talk with him.  Who knows??

Believe me, we understand the task ahead.  But this one time in history, this race will hinge more on principle than money.

Hooray!!!  If you decide to run against Brady, you can count of my help.  We have organized ourselves here by the district.  There are about 8 tea parties in dist 6, so we have organized the CD-6 group comprised of two leaders from each tea party.  We, together, gave Barton, hell at the town hall meetings, ALL the town hall meetings in his district.  He can dismiss one or two tea parties, but not his whole district.  We represent about 3500 signed up tparty members.  A survey we took indicated that for every signed up member, there was at least 15 other folks that voted the same way, but just did not join an organized group.  That effectively gives us 52,000 little helpers to go against Barton.  We could do the same in your area......  Just have to educate those at the town hall meetings on his record.  And do it all over the district simultaneously.  That's the key.  If you are serious, we can meet sometime and discuss how we did it.  I will be coming down to Houston Tuesday on business.  We can meet in Conroe if you wish.  I was supposed to be interviewing Ted Cruz up in Dallas Tuesday, but was called down to Houston on business.  We need to get him vetted through ICaucus.  I have asked Mel Moss with the Arlington Tea Party to do the honors in my absence.

John, we organized our tea party groups up here (Dist. 6, Joe Barton) together and have started some coordinated actions against him.  As you may know, Joe is one of the so-called good guys, (much like Ted Poe), but we are determined to raise the bar higher and get him out.  The trick was to find someone better within our district that would run against him and we found him last week after an intensive search.  His name if Frank Kuchar.  Google him.  The only thing that will screw us up will be redistricting.  I believe the Texas speaker is holding up the redistricting effort to the last minute in order to hamper our "organizing" with the new districts.  Ol' Joe has learned about his opponent and has recently visited Austin several times.  We believe that he wants to drop the southern half of the district as it is now.  His base of support is the Arlington area and it's labor union entities, so he wants us hicks out of his hair.  Ha!!  Anyway, if you like Kuchar, spread the word.  We need support to get a true constitutionalist in Barton's place.  btw, he loves the Fair Tax.....as a good start.  It still does not "starve the beast", but it's a really good start in the right direction.
