We presently live amidst a struggle, politically, between those who believe in individual freedom and those who want to separate us from that freedom, treating us instead as “groups”. Writing of a…Continue

No, there’s no little red book and, of course, Obama’s the president of the United States, not a communist party chairman. However, he and the late Mao would no doubt share many of the same deeply held beliefs if Obama’s actions count for anything. At the present time, even those who were on the fence are beginning to get a better look at just who our President is. Pity those, like the lonely (evidenced by ratings) Chris Matthews, who literally worshiped the guy. Those of you who read this,…

According to Talk Radio pundit Rush Limbaugh, the mainstream media are circling the wagons around President Obama, claiming that, as large as the government is, heck, he couldn’t possibly know about something like Benghazi in advance!
Huh? Let’s see…the most political of all the nation’s presidents doesn’t know what’s going on in his embassy in the troubled nation of Libya, very much in the world’s focused view, two months prior to an upcoming election at a time before that election…

In recent years it seems that much is has been made of “presidential libraries”. The concept was founded and enacted into law in 1939 by none other than – you guessed it – the Democrat, Franklin D. Roosevelt, who apparently couldn’t get enough of himself and wished to have his correspondence deified in its own refuge, separate from the tawdry and common trash associated the with the bulk of the national archives and the Library of Congress. ( Read more about its forming here:…

The single greatest need for conservatives – and for the United States as we’ve known it – is to unify around core governing principles. Until we unify, we are easily divided, set against one another and barely effective as a political force. A pity, for otherwise we would win.
Most conservatives would agree that the single most important issue is the size and scope of the federal government. That includes issues of budget, overreaching regulation, redundant and or completely…

You're very welcome for the link.

I asked, "What is your plan and strategy?" You ignored my question.
Others, in response to your article, asked you to name the organizations. As did I. You've ignored us.
I asked you to explain how "outside organizations" can be very helpful in getting RINOs out of office entirely and asked for concrete historical examples. You ignored that question, too.
It's kind of hard to have a dialogue with someone who doesn't want to answer pertinent questions.
Thank you,

You said the following. See my comments in [[double brackets]]:
Hey CW,
Good comments on my blog, but you're a tad limited in your thinking. Yes, technically, the GOP apparatus must replace people like Boehner. However, outside organizations can also be very helpful in getting people like Boehner, McCain (too late for that guy...), Collins and their like out of office entirely.
[[Please name the organizations and give me proven, concrete historical examples.]]
But I don't care, at the end of the day, how they're removed so long as they are removed and don't come back.
[[So, what is your plan and strategy?]]
I, for one, will not be satisfied with their mere removal, either. Rules must be changed in the party providing for the expulsion of elected members who vote outside publicly available and detailed party dictates. We no longer can afford to wait for an entire election cycle for accountability. [["Expulsion" from the Party? ANYONE can run as a Republican. The only people who can be "expunged" from the Party, per the rules, are precinct committeemen. Have you bothered to read and study the national, state, county and legislative district committee rules/bylaws?. Who are you to demand "expulsion" from the Party of anyone, when you are not even a member of it?" Being a member of a Republican club does not make you a voting member of the Party. ONLY precinct committeemen are "card carrying Party members."]]
Of course, if the party isn't conservative in either their agenda, principles or platform, then that's instructive as well. This nation need accountability, and soon. If George Soros is a player in the Democrat Party, I have no doubts whatever that he's also reached Republicans. We need to remove the influence people such as Soros -- or Rove's bosses -- can wield with any member of congress on the GOP side. Campaign finance? Gimme a break. It has to come down to the individual's responsibility for a vote. Our party has been subverted.
FYI, I'm active in the Fountain Hills Republican Club... Who are you anyway? Why is your name hidden? [[I choose to remain anonymous for professional reasons.]]
Thank you.

Catherine said… Jeff,
When I say it isn't going to change, I am only referring to my small neck of the woods as I do not pretend to know how others are doing. I've tried to influence my Leg. Dist. and continue to with few results. People are very complacent and like to do what is comfortable. I asked my Leg. Dist Chair who is a PCO if she had every walked her precinct to even introduce herself. She said, "I am not comfortable doing that." But, she does know how to organize a meeting. In my humble opinion, organizing a meeting is great, but the real work exists as feet on the ground and "engaging" both our side and the anyone else.
Yes, if a robot has to answer to someone somewhere, then you are correct. I traded money for that privilege; however, I was still given a lot more latitude than a robot is given. Even today, in the volunteer work I do, I have earned a reputation of being "outside the box" but competent to be there and therefore have the support of the paid people who oversee the program I volunteer with.
We all answer to someone somewhere, and with limitations that isn't bad at all as long as it doesn't morph by bits and pieces of total control.
We need to do a whole lot better in our support of candidates who actually we could depend on to vote the right way most of the time. The power has to be taken away from the elected and assumed by the people.

I do understand what you are saying about Heritage and ACU. It all leads back to money, doesn't it. I would like to give DeMint a chance at making a difference. He is pushing his education reform and if that happens, the Education department could be drastically cut if not abolished. I am afraid we have to take the bad with the little bit of good because it is all about the money. We really do outnumber them but, they have the power right now but, they can't keep it without our vote. It will dawn on them at some point, don't you think?
