Get Out the Vote bulletin

Posted on May 9, 2010 at 5:29pm 0 Comments

I have collaborated with others to compose a "Get out the vote" flier that we can mass produce and distribute in neighborhoods just prior to the primaries and also again in late October. We would like feedback from TPN on this effort and any recommendations. Also, should this type of flier appear on TPN letterhead? We need some consensus here. Thanks to everyone.…

Kaye, If you don't mind me being nosey..where do you live in AZ? I'm up in Payson. I signed up with this group b/c I was interested in finding out some information. So far I have found some...but am still looking. Once I get more used to the set up of this list, I will probably be saying more. Thanks for asking to be my friend. ~J

Kaye, again I agree with you.

From your Forum post at "God Teach Me To Pray."

At the risk of being offensive to some, I would like to point out a little considered fact. For decades Christians have seen the systematic destruction of our Christian nation. We have watched: legalization of abortion, prayer removed from our schools, the name of God stripped from every possible public display, the Ten Commandments sent to the basement, Christ removed from Christmas, and on and on it goes. With little more than a prayer, we have allowed these things to happen. We have expected prayer around the flag pole, or other forms of prayer to solve our problems. We have finally come to realize that God expects our participation in resolving these problems. It is prayer plus action that produces fruit. Prayer is definitely our starting point. But we have learned the hard way that prayer alone is not the answer. We are to be instruments of God's will on earth. We are involved in a spiritual war and we have finally donned our weaponry of Ephesians 6. Soldiers of Christ are reporting for duty.

Well said Kaye.

Kaye, What an incredibly nice comment. Im humbled to be recognized by people far more accomplished in this movement. I have limited political experience, however I feel like I, my family and my friends are living the Traditional American Life. Perhaps I can offer a sense of hope that we are not a dying breed and that there are more of us out there desperately trying to find something we believe in to stand behind. Thank you for the encouragement and may God Bless You as well!

Hi Kaye. I read your post on the "In God We Trust" forum thread.

I really liked what you wrote...

"...Every organized belief system has some form of "plumb line" to live by based upon an absolute "truth". For a Christian that plumb line is the Bible. A Christian believes the Bible to be the inspired word of God, thus the truth. In the Old Testament book of Judges we are told that "every man did what was right in his own eyes" and it led to God's judgment upon them. The entire book is a cycle of man doing what was right in his own eyes followed by God's judgment. Clearly, God found this unacceptable. There is an absolute truth - by God's standards, not man's..."

Amen to that Kaye.
