From your Forum post at "God Teach Me To Pray."
At the risk of being offensive to some, I would like to point out a little considered fact. For decades Christians have seen the systematic destruction of our Christian nation. We have watched: legalization of abortion, prayer removed from our schools, the name of God stripped from every possible public display, the Ten Commandments sent to the basement, Christ removed from Christmas, and on and on it goes. With little more than a prayer, we have allowed these things to happen. We have expected prayer around the flag pole, or other forms of prayer to solve our problems. We have finally come to realize that God expects our participation in resolving these problems. It is prayer plus action that produces fruit. Prayer is definitely our starting point. But we have learned the hard way that prayer alone is not the answer. We are to be instruments of God's will on earth. We are involved in a spiritual war and we have finally donned our weaponry of Ephesians 6. Soldiers of Christ are reporting for duty.
Well said Kaye.

I really liked what you wrote...
"...Every organized belief system has some form of "plumb line" to live by based upon an absolute "truth". For a Christian that plumb line is the Bible. A Christian believes the Bible to be the inspired word of God, thus the truth. In the Old Testament book of Judges we are told that "every man did what was right in his own eyes" and it led to God's judgment upon them. The entire book is a cycle of man doing what was right in his own eyes followed by God's judgment. Clearly, God found this unacceptable. There is an absolute truth - by God's standards, not man's..."
Amen to that Kaye.
