Hi Gail,

We just gotta put on the blinders and do it.  Haven't you seen enough to know that following the Republicans is wasted?  How could we do worse?  What have we got to lose?  And at least we'd get to vote for someone we believe in and who believes in what he's saying.  We'll put out candidates who know the drill as well as we do if not better.  And if it sounds as though I believe that we can't win doing this, forget it, because I'm sure we can win if we branch off on our own.  We simply need to have control and the Republican leadership won't give it up nor will they go with conservatism.  They'll just keep on doing what they've been doing -- losing.
