Dear fellow patriots, Scott Brown's win in Massachussetts this week was vitally important because of the message it sent to Washington and because it broke the liberal super-majority.  However, from…Continue

Supreme Court rulings - we're all losers

The Supreme Court strikes down part of Arizona’s immigration laws – seen as a win for liberals.  They strike down all of Montana’s laws on corporate expenditures for candidates – seen as a win for conservatives.  The truth is that the loser in both of these cases is all of America.  These are two decisions released by the court in the past week which are part of a trend begun in the early-to-mid 1900’s in which the Supreme Court has increasingly applied the first eight amendments of the U.S.…See More

The Fall Into Arbitrary Law

Posted on September 12, 2011 at 5:00am 19 Comments

September 17th is Constitution Day and I’m sorry to report our U.S. Constitution is in grave condition.  It occurs to me that almost no part of the Constitution remains intact.  It’s true we still have government bodies using the same names described in the Constitution, such as a Congress and President, but that’s where our use for the Constitution appears to end.  Don’t believe me? I challenge you to attend a class, such as…

ACLU Lawsuit is an Attack on Liberty and Logic

Posted on June 1, 2011 at 10:10am 37 Comments

The ACLU lawsuit filed in federal court in May, claiming Sumner County, TN violated the First Amendment, is a freedom-crushing attack on our entire community. This lawsuit turns the Constitution on its head by seeking to have the federal government strip us of our rights to self-government, free exercise of religion and freedom of speech. Thanks to our Constitution and the vision of the Founders, what happens in our schools is a decision for our community and our state and nobody else. We…

Liberty vs. Collective Bargaining

Posted on February 27, 2011 at 9:08am 58 Comments

If we truly believe in basic individual liberty then we believe in consensual agreements between people and should oppose collective bargaining.  When liberty is respected, employees have the right to seek work they desire and employers have the right to hire employees they want. If the conditions of the work are agreeable for both the employer and the employee then the employee will be hired and then retained for as long as the conditions remain agreeable for both the employer and the…

Thank you, Eric, for the friend request. Do you think we can educate our side about the U.S. Constitution?
