Sadly, I have just added two of my once favorite actors to the list of actors who I will never see again - right next to Jane Fonda who I never heard of until she was sitting on an anti-aircraft gun…Continue

When I was but a child, I always looked forward to the weekends because on Saturday my sisters and I would go to the movie theater for the Saturday matinee. We each got a quarter for our allowance (which was earned or not received) and I would blow the whole quarter on the movie (Ten Cents) and a small soda (five cents) but most importantly - a Box of Cracker Jacks. Yes I know the that the prices date me.…

People always ask: "Where are you from?" and it is almost impossible for me to answer because I am truly a child of the world having lived in about two dozen countries and most of the fifty states.
With that background, I soon came to the realization that I am "different" from the vast majority of my peers.
As a teenager, I was in Vietnam where I practiced my chosen profession of "soldier"; a life long state of mind with…

Just what is the Tea Party Position on Immigration?
And is Darwin going to tell us what that position is or should be?
None and No.
And one of the reasons for those answers is the…

My father served in the Korean War. And he served in the Vietnam war. His time in Vietnam overlapped with my first of two combat tours in Vietnam.
And when I came “home” after my last tour I could not legally buy a beer or vote because I was not yet old enough.
And I could not get a “real” job because I was labelled as a “drug crazed baby…

Best way to get started is to start reading the Discussions. Some are numbered, read those in order. Then read the others as you have time. There is also good stuff on the "Wall" as you get time! So glad to have you in the class!
Liked your comments about GM..thankfully we sold our GM stock before Obama nationalized it.

Very Patriotic said… Too bad everyone I become friends with is so far away. I didn't want to say on my post in fear of people thinking I was "too far out there" but I am taking my tween children to the shooting range for practice so that they might not have (as much) fear when/if things start getting out of hand. I at least want them to have a fighting chance against the crazy "progressives" and militants and Muslims.
I really don't know how to organize people who WILL get up and get out - openly. What ever happened to underground movements? Oh well, the consolation (for now) is in knowing we ARE out here.
p.s. If you ever get a chance, read the book They Must Be Stopped, by Brigette Gabriel. Be armed. The next time someone tells you "Islam is a religion of peace...blah, blah, blah", you will be full of the truth. Most libraries have it-surprisingly. Have every child you know read this book. Take care. Keep the faith.

Bob Green said… Very scary stuff Darwin. I sure hope that you can gather enough evidence to convict some people (ACORN and union thugs) for election fraud. The other need is obvious...to change the state laws to require a government-issued photo ID and a voter registration card to verify that: 1) you ARE the named person presenting themselves at the polling place; and, 2) that you ARE eligible by your residence address to vote in that particular election. (Obviously, in Nevada, the laws about who can obtain a driver's license need to be changed. Maybe you could use Texas' new Voter ID law as a template.)
You should be able to round up enough conscientious Nevadans to help you in this effort; just watch your back!
