Sadly, I have just added two of my once favorite actors to the list of actors who I will never see again - right next to Jane Fonda who I never heard of until she was sitting on an anti-aircraft gun…Continue

"Mike,  Your assessment is reasonably correct. My oldest son always wanted to be a cop when he grew up. And he got there in Southern California. And then he quit. I asked him why, given the intensity in which he worked to get there, why all of a…"

Red Ink Flowing::You Get What You Pay For

In the spirit of full disclosure, I did not watch the Liar-In-Chief’s (sorry) State of The Union address yesterday; my high blood pressure meds are just not that good.

For as long as I can remember my Father has always prone to reminding me that “There is no free lunch”. Loosely translated that has always meant that one needs to work for what one wants.…

Red Ink Flowing::Happy MLK Day (NOT)

On August 28, 1963 I was getting myself psyched up to be attending a “real” high school in the area of Oklahoma City. My father is a proud member of the U.S. Army Military Intelligence community and up to that point I had spent the vast majority of my education in various small schools attached to the back side of embassies or in locations that no one was willing to talk about outside the community. And on that day, a charismatic black American stood on the steps…

In October of 2013 I published an Open Letter To The U.S. Military and Their Families. Perhaps I reached some people and perhaps some of those people have had some time to think. Perhaps it is again time to attempt to get people to go beyond random thoughts held close to the chest.

I once…

Thanks very much! I will definitely keep that offer in mind, it has been a long time since I was in Nevada.  Love it here on the Southern Oregon Coast!

Thanks for your encouragement.  As you can figure out, being in San Francisco, I am like a minnow in a tank full of RINO's passing themselves off as conservatives at GOP gatherings, but selling themselves as moderates in the company of nonRepublicans.  I pray that the RINO control of the CAGOP will be temporary and the pendulum will swing back towards real conservative values and policies.  In case you do not know, Liberal disguised filthy rich Munger family, whose wealth is tied with Warren Buffett, has nearly singlehandedly paid off the 4 million dollar debt CAGOP had for a couple or so years.  Obviously, very moderate current chairman and former state senator Jim Brulte has to now jump through those deep pocket RINO hoops.  And it does not help matters when the so-called reliable right wing conservative California Republican Assembly (CRA) is now at the beck and bidding of Charles Munger and his RINO's.

I just sent this email,

Lt. Colonel, Bateman,
With all due respect to the Military and the Uniform.
If this article is accurate, I can assure you the only way you will get my weapons is by the method you mention.
The good news is this: It is words like yours that have inspired Men like myself to run for office so the words that I use will inspire a nation to stop rogue officers like you.

Thank you

Thank you for the welcome and warm words Darwin!  I don't agree with everything in the TPM, but everything has its goods 'n bads.  :>   Unfortunately, due to the size and depth of research/effort needed in just my small corner of things (Free Choice Movement) I can't follow the larger political picture closely enough to feel I have opinions that are worth much more than the average.  In general though, I like the "smaller government is better government" and "Freedom" philosophies.

Thanks again, and keep on fightin'!

I don't know how (or if) agent orange didn't get me. I lived at the base of Monkey Mountain for almost 2 years, and it was being constantly defoliated with that stuff. I'll be 65 in about a week and a half and, so far, still reasonably healthy. Welcome home, and take care, bro.
