Unforgivable! not to be overlooked, not to be excused, inexcusable. Governmental incompetence! Deliberate abdication of responsibility. Failing to apply routine protection, procedures were deliberately ignored by Obama and his rabble. Instead, we get the ignorant excuse about some movie...given by high Government spokespeople. Never so irresponsible and incompetent. History will…

I heard a man say, "Americans like a fighter. Obama is perceived as a fighter, but maybe Romney is not." I see a nugget in there. I would like to express this in terms of ruthless fighter nature. We want Romney to show fighting spirit as a protector of American principles and protector of American citizens. We know Romney is a hard worker. Maybe we don't know if he is…

To: Fox News. Out here in voterland in the midst of America on the precipice, I and other object to those impotent little debates set up with two opposing spokespeople for issues. You at Foxnews allow those insincere blatherings to obscure facts, talk over each other(bad manners never looks good) and lie blatantly, etc. This will not substitute for useful information for anyone. All of this silliness is…

Clint Eastwood came to present a well crafted a characterization of Barack Obama. I can't imagine such a professional as Eastwood doing anything off-the-cuff at a high profile public meeting. He used his old-guy bumbling approach to bring it off in a stylish laid-back manner. He carried it off well enough to slip in a picture of Obama. Read your comment today and have to wonder the same. The problem with the Republican party vs the Democrats is this: the GOP is a social club and the Democrat leadership is an army. It's fun and games for our guys and it's life of death for Democrats. We need to lose the social leadership and base it instead on concrete policy objectives and people committed to their realization -- or committed to being replaced as soon as they are deemed ineffective. That may require a new structure to replace the old one and I'm not sure that a mere alliance with the Tea Party will bring about that change as anything more than something expedient at a moment in time. We need to leave where we are as a nation and not revisit it.
Gingrich IS a Progressive, his words-not mine. When his favorite Presidents are Roosevelt and Wilson, Andrew Jackson . . . OMG! The only REAL conservative in the race is Rick Santorum and He's not a Progressive.
Dear Charles, I am always trying to get people to READ THE EXISTING DISCUSSIONS - there is some good stuff there. What I want to avoid is someone having a thought & just starting a new discussion without seeing what's already there! Otherwise, our Study Group will degenerate into an opinion forum where everyone just spouts off about what he thinks about things.

Best way to get started is to start reading the Discussions. Some are numbered, read those in order. Then read the others as you have time. There is also good stuff on the "Wall" as you get time!
Thank you, Gwen
