As angry and disappointed as I am with those individuals who have besmirched the previously presumed integrity of the Justice Department, the FBI, NSA and the CIA, people such as James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, John Brennan, Michael Hayden and James Clapper, I am even more mystified by their eagerness to betray the nation and sully their own reputations on behalf of liar-Hillary Rodham Clinton.

This is a woman who from the very beginning of her professional life, when, as a young lawyer, she celebrated getting a client of her law firm — a middle-aged man who had raped a 12-year-old girl — off with a wrist slap, she has been motivated by nothing more noble than money and power.

Everything she has ever said and done has been driven by a naked ambition to boss people around and pick their pockets while doing so.

Why on earth would those who had risen to the top of the hill in law enforcement and national intelligence be so willing to risk their reputations and perhaps even jail time in order to provide this pant-suited harridan with cover?

That is a question I have yet to hear posed by Trey Gowdy, Jim Jordan or any of their colleagues on the congressional committees grilling these assorted sleazebags.

Another question that should be asked is why CNN, NBC, MSNBC and PBS, have all seen fit to offer gainful employment and a public platform to the likes of Brennan, Hayden, Clapper, former CIA agents Philip Mudd and Steven Hall, along with ex-Comey aide, Asha Rangappa.

Have the broadcast standards declined to such an extent that the only prerequisite for being hired as a talking head on TV is that you be a card-carrying Never-Trumper?

One other question I would love to have answered is how it is that John Brennan rose to become the director of the CIA when it’s known that in 1976, in the midst of the Cold War, he was one of 58,709 idiots who cast their votes for Gus Hall, the perennial nominee of the Communist Party, to be president.

Brennan later explained that he viewed his vote as “a way of signaling my unhappiness with the system, and the need for change.”

Signaling whom? If I wanted to send a message, I would hardly do it via a secret ballot.

Apparently, Brennan’s hunger for change couldn’t be satisfied by Jimmy Carter, Gerald Ford, Eugene McCarthy, Lester Maddox, Thomas Anderson, Peter Camejo, Margaret Wright or Lyndon LaRouche, who represented not merely the two major parties, but a hodge-podge of groups ranging from Libertarian to American Independent. Apparently nothing less than an avowed Communist would do.

⦿ When I question the loyalty of so many to Mrs. liar- Clinton, I’m not merely voicing my partisan bias. I acknowledge that I feel nothing but contempt for liberals, but it’s because I am convinced that they are wrong on every conceivable issue, including open borders, higher taxes, a child-like belief in global warming, a diminished military, same-sex marriages, the legalization of pot, abortions-on-demand and a one-world government dominated by the U.N.

But the sins of Mrs. liar-Clinton go far beyond that. They include trashing the women sexually abused by her husband; both causing and then covering up the Benghazi massacre; accepting a bribe from Russia in exchange for handing over America’s uranium; and the criminal money-laundering enterprise known as the liar-Clinton Family Foundation.

It’s been floating around for a long time, but it was Joe Neuner of Olathe, Kansas, who most recently sent me the 2014 tax return for the Foundation, reminding me that it took in revenue of $177 million that year, but paid out a mere $5 million in charitable contributions.

At the same time, it paid 486 employees $35 million in salaries; spent $850,000 on fund-raising fees; $8 million on travel; $12 million on meetings; and $50 million on other non-itemized expenses!

It’s pretty obvious that liar-Hillary, liar-Bill and Chelsea, all subscribe to the belief that charity starts at home.

⦿ I had been aware that Mark Twain once suggested that if you didn’t read a newspaper, you would be uninformed; whereas if you did read one, you would be ill-informed. But what I hadn’t known until Dave Krueger, the sage of Napa, California, alerted me was that Twain had also declared: “Do not fear the enemy, for your enemy can only take your life. It is far better that you fear the media, for they will steal your honor. That awful power, the public opinion of a nation, is created in America by a horde of ignorant, self-complacent simpletons who failed at ditching and shoemaking, and fetched up in journalism on the way to the poorhouse.”

Twain’s genius is that he knew this a hundred years before CNN even existed. I can’t help noticing that his comments could be equally applied to our politicians.
