Between the scandals and politicians trying to move up the political food chain, there are going to be a lot of changes in Washington after the 2018 election.
Tennessee is seeing some of these changes, as 6th District Congressman Diane Black is running to replace the term limited, liberal governor Bill Haslam. Black has held that seat since being elected in the 2010 Tea Party wave.
Now, someone will replace her in Congress. There are two candidates running in this district, which is a safe Republican district. The first is John Rose. He is a former Agriculture Commissioner in the administration of liberal, tax and spend governor Don Sunquist.
Rose is one of those Republicans who will tell you on the stump they are conservative, but will go to DC and be a part of the DC swamp.
Judd Matheny is the other candidate. Judd has been a member of the Tennessee General Assembly since 2002. As a member of the legislature, after telling his constituents how conservative he is; he went to Nashville and proved it.
Judd is pro-life, pro-Second Amendment, pro-traditional marriage, wants to slash spending, shrink the regulatory state and protect America against its foreign enemies.
A lot of politicians give us this kind of speech. Judd Matheny has the track record to prove he will do what he says he will do.
His website is juddforcongress.com.
Tea Party Nation endorses Judd Matheny and hopes the voters of Tennessee’s Sixth Congressional District will send him to Washington to help drain the swamp.
