Bachmann Meets With Business Leaders & Job Creators

August 9, 2012 Contact: Chase Kroll chasekroll@yahoo.com

Blaine, MN -- Michele Bachmann met with business leaders and job creators in St. Cloud today. The discussion was anchored on what Congress can do to change the current environment of uncertainty and stagnation to one of prosperity and growth. Bachmann said, "These business owners are the key to prosperity in Minnesota. We've consistently talked about the need to lower taxes on employees and employers as the best action to jumpstart hiring and growth in the private sector."

Bachmann's campaign manager, Chase Kroll, said the meeting was requested by the group because of Bachmann's business experience. "Michele is a small business owner and shares their experiences. Since becoming a member of Congress, she has focused on commonsense job growth by ending excessive regulation and taxation. She opposed the Wall Street bailouts and failed stimulus plans and is a leader on the repeal of Obamacare-- the number one job killer for small businesses. Businesses and families across the sixth district know Michele is on their side."

Ohio needs help right now. We need delegates from all the new Congressional Districts and At-Large Delegates. There are 2 forms that we can email, they need to be printed on legal paper, signed and then Fedexed to the Bachmann campaign in Washington DC so Michele can sign them and Fedex them or deliver them to Columbus, OH by 4 pm this Friday, Dec. 30. They need 88 delegates, and 88 alternate delegates to commit to going to the GOP National Convention in Tampa, FL on Aug. 26-30, 2012. If anyone is interested in being a delegate for Michele Bachmann at the National Convention, email me ASAP at dmulholand@gmail.com so I can email you forms. Only have 24 to 48 hours to get these to DC so they can be signed and delivered by Friday.

URGENT REQUEST:

God is awesome! And He does awesome things!  Please believe with me!

Four days ago I sat in a motel room in Ft Dodge, IA with Dr. Marcus and Sister Michele. They asked me for help.

Sister Michele looked exhausted from a tough week of campaigning - one stop after another; one handshake after another; one speech after another, and one press interview after another. Dr. Marcus hugged his bride as if he was trying to squeeze some of his strength into her petit frame.  The look of affection in his eyes told me that he would carry her, if possible, in his arms across the finish line.

She said, "Peter, we need your help.  We need to get a mail piece to our folks in Iowa, can you help us?  I want to reach them before the Caucus."

From the moment that the three of us prayed,  the Lord gave me great favor to secure graphic art, printing, mail shop services, and 50,000 IA Evangelical names and addresses.  The Lord has brought Michele's special project to a point where the artwork is complete, printing presses are ready to roll and the mail shop is ready to label and drop the trays of mail into the USPS mail stream.

One final hurdle - the postage.

I telephoned our Campaign Manager, "Can you help?"

He answered, "How much is it?"

I told him "$14,500 for postage and mail shop services."

He said, "Peter, we can't, we don't have the money."

But I thought to myself, our God can do all things; nothing is impossible to our God.  And declared aloud to all who could hear! Yes, He can!

Michele's and Marcus' faith is on the line. The campaign is on the line. Our nation's future is on the line.

I need your prayers and Michele needs your help.

I pray that the Lord will speak directly to you, if possible, to contribute to Michele's campaign.

I must raise this money before 12 Noon on Friday to print, perform mail shop services and deliver to the post office.  The post card (attached) must be in the homes
of folks before next Friday.

When the Lord speaks to you, and He will, can you please telephone me at (cell phone) 727-415-7189 to make your pledge?

I believe that the Lord will speak to each of you to give something.

A couple can give up to $5,000 or $2,500 each (husband and wife).  Children can give $2,500 each.

Checks are made payable to Bachmann For President

Michele and Marcus have sown a virtuous testimony, impeccable integrity, and a commitment to Christ second to none. It is time for them to reap.

I know that you agree with me that Michele Bachmann's is the nation's best hope in 2012 and for the destiny of this nation.

Please pray and obey.

I believe in Him, His Word and your faithfulness.

His servant, your friend,

Peter

PS Why? Because the nation is on the cusp of a catastrophe unless a righteous Bible-believing servant of God is sworn into office in January 2012.  I agree with each of you that Michele is America's, our children's, and grandchildren's best hope for God's mercy and blessing.  Please, let it be said of our generation that we recognized the challenge, we met the challenge, and we overcame the challenge to the honor and glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.

A link for Credit Card contributionshttps://donate.michelebachmann.com/website/?initiativekey=Q7KFNAO3CSZU

I was told very early this morning that when you make a contribution by Credit Card, please go to this link.  In the lower left hand corner this is a box marked "Referral".

Please write in "Peter Waldron" so that the money can be credited to this project.

When you are able to write a check, please telephone me so I can property tally the total and give to our Campaign Manager.

The printers must start printing before 12 Noon today to complete their part of the project before mail shop does its final part.

Michele and Marcus are depending upon you.

May the LORD bless Michele's efforts to communicate with the IA Caucus goer.

His servant, your friend,

Peter

PS I thank you in advance for your obedience to the Lord and your love for Michele.  She wouldn't be this far were it not for you and His leading.  An individual can give up to $2500; a couple can give $1000.  We have to 12N today (Friday, December 23) to tell the print shop to start.  Our faith is in God.  You are loved.

Larry Self, I agree with you that the Bachmann campaign is still bashing Newt, for what ever reason. Instead of complaining about Newt; Michele Bachmann should have been doing the same thing - fund raisers for and joint appearances with Tea Parties. I doubt if any Tea Party would have snubbed her offer, but she has not been making such appearances.

Kelly Payne is a wonderful Christian lady. She is that rare public school teacher who actually cares deeply about her students and they adore her. Kelly is also involved in a LOT of community service projects, many that have nothing to do with politics. She was a candidate for State Superintendent of Education in the last GOP primary here. She ran a very positive campaign, never made personal attacks on other Republicans in the race, and worked hard for our nominees that were all elected in November.

I suspect the campaign has painted itself into a corner with the charge Newt has been "buying" Tea Party endorsements. Rather than defend a poor decision, the Bachmann campaign should back off that assertion and apologize for the statement of one eager beaver staffer.

Newt at a fund raiser and Newt hiring one staffer are NOT evidence of Newt buying Tea Party support. The inference that Tea Party members can be bought is offensive and simply does not do our campaign any good. Michele Bachmann is the natural fit for Tea Party memberts, given her leadership in opposing Obamacare and her clear record of standing up to the GOP leadership and refusing to go alomng with all the compromises on raising the debt limit and other such fiscal insanity.

The Bachmann campaign here is angry with me because I publicly called for the censure of Ron Paul after his Brownshirt supporters booed Governors Romney and Perry during the debate at Wofford College. I was in the audience for that debate and the behavior of the Pauliban was atrocious. The moderator from CBS actually had to stop the national debate and call down the Paulbots in the audience for rude behavior. The Pauliban insulted Wofford College, Spartanburg, the SC GOP and are an embarrasment to our party.

My own second choice is Newt Gingrich as well. He is not as pure a conservative as Michele bachmann, and he has some baggage, but he has acknowledged his past mistakes and will clearly be a better President than everyone else running except Michele Bachmann.

Finally, I do not know Javan Browder as well, but he is clearly a highly intelligent young man who has brought a lot of energy and ability to the Bachmann campaign that was lacking before. I really don't think either Javan, or Kelly, intended any "character slamming" because that is not anything either of them would do. I am more inclined to think all these "Tea Party Leaders" for Bachmann were asked to sign something someone else wrote. I agree with you this does not help Bachmann reach Tea Party members here in South Carolina.

I continue to work on that on my own since I am not part of the campaign. Tea Party members need to look at Bachmanns record of public service and deep understanding of the issues, and hopefully overlook the actions by her campaign here attacking Newt.

I really like your photo of the Duke and the Gipper, but will keep mine of Michele Bachmann. Merry Christmas!

Dean - Those people may be sharp, as sharp as their Newt filet Ginsu's. Their apology was a continued character slamming, half-truth Newt bashing, arrogant non-apology, and a Newt supporter bridge burner. Sick, IMO.

Comment by Dean Allen on December 24, 2011 at 12:40pm

Javan Browder and Kelly Payne are the two people who should be running Michele Bachmann's campaign. They are two of the sharpest people I know. I appreciate Javan's corrections. Since I am not part of the campaign, I did not know those other folks correct titles.

I have no doubt everyone connected with the Bachmann campaign is sincere and well meaning. However, in my opinion they made a really stupid decision to kiss up to the Ron Paul crowd, while hacking off all the Newt Gingrich supporters.

The fact is the Ron Paul crowd are largely the fringes of both the GOP and the Tea Party movement, and, they don't have any second choice in the race. They are part of a fanatical cult of personality and they will follow Ron Paul out of the party in a tantrum once he loses the nomination.

Gingrich is my second choice because he is brilliant and brings decades of relevant experience to the campaign. Our campaign might consider that if Michele Bachmann is the nominee, she may want Newt on the ticket. If he implodes like Herman Cain did, we should not be poisioning the well so that his supporters do not gravitate to Bachmann.

Finally, Newt, unlike Ron Paul, does have a chance at the nomination. Our primary should not so weaken our eventual nominee that Obama benefits in the general election.

There are two reasons we have the usurper from Kenya in office right now. Conservatives did not get behind McCain. (McCain's campaign was about as inept as the Bachmann effort is.) And, massive voter fraud for Obama.

Bachmann, Newt, and our other candidates should be standing shoulder to shoulder right now and demanding the "Justice" Department back off its ruling that our law requiring photo ID to vote is discriminatory. The law does discriminate against folks planning to vote illegaly, but not against any race or demographic group. We need to follow Ronald Reagan's 11th Commandment, and have a vigorous ballot security plan in place that the Obamunists will hate worse than just photo ID.

That is one LAME statement.  It oozes with hyperbole, arrogance, pettiness and hypocrisy.  Good luck with the "must stand together" part, keep the blades sharp.

Regardless, I am still leaning toward Michele though Newt could easily be my choice.

Statement by Bachmann SC Tea Party Coalition Leaders

December 17, 2011
Below is a statement made today by the Bachmann SC Tea Party Coalition leaders in response to some back and forth that has been going on recently over some “tea party” endorsements of Newt Gingrich.
Statement by Bachmann SC Tea Party Coalition Leaders
From its inception, a core mission of the TEA party has been to hold candidates and elected officials accountable for their record. Michelle Bachmann’s efforts to expose the actual record of “Newt 2.0″ are not at all “negative campaign tactics”. We find it very surprising that some TEA party activists have suggested otherwise.
However, there is a difference between attacking the record of a Washington insider and spreading innuendo among members of the movement. Much is at stake. We will not support or engage in comments designed to cause dissension within the movement, and regret that our concerns regarding recent TEA party endorsements of Newt Gingrich have been used to this effect.
These are the facts that we know:
1. As a Washington insider, Gingrich has a history of pay-to-play politics.
2. On October 29th, Newt Gingrich participated in a fundraiser for the Myrtle Beach Tea Party.
3. Newt Gingrich then hired one of the Myrtle Beach Tea Party organizers as a paid staffer.
4. The Myrtle Beach Tea Party organization and leadership have endorsed Gingrich.
As friends and allies in the movement for liberty, we apologize for calling into question the character, rather than the judgment and objectivity, of the Myrtle Beach Tea Party leadership.
Finally, we request the Myrtle Beach Tea Party leadership consider whether it is really worthwhile to allow your reputation to be co-opted by an establishment candidate who supported everything that sparked our movement to begin with, from TARP and the bailouts to government-mandated healthcare.
The TEA party in SC must stand together, and while we may differ on the means, we agree on the end goal: a free state, and a free nation.

Signed,

Javan Browder – Bachmann SC Tea Party Coalition State Co-Chairman

Kelly Payne – Bachmann SC Tea Party Coalition State Co-Chairman

Steve Rapchick – Bachmann SC Tea Party Coalition Lowcountry Chairman

Preston Baines – Bachmann SC Tea Party Coalition Midlands Chairman

FTR Donehue did not take over for Sheri Few.  Sheri is the SC Field Director and Donehue is the SC Spokesman.  Donehue was hired against the advice of some people.  Anyway, he certainly has been a liability in some ways and has burned some bridges.  I do have to say that he is right on most of what he is saying and our SC Tea Party Coalition (which I am Co-Chairman of) has backed up the content of the claims as per the link I'm attaching.  It's more an issue of it not having been wise to have opened the can of worms in the first place, but it's really been a good thing in some ways because it's brought a lot of cronyism into the open and we've been able to make it clear that supporting RINOs is NOT what the tea party stands for.  All this has been boiling under the surface here in SC for a while.  It was just a matter of time before it all came out.  http://thesouthcarolinaconservative.com/?p=215
Comment by Dean Allen on December 22, 2011 at 6:46pm

Katie,

The Bachmann campaign hired a political hack here in SC by the name of Wesley Donehue to run the campaign. He took over from Sheri few.

About a week ago, Wesley Donehue shot off his mouth that the only reason some Tea Party groups and leaders in this state have endorsed Newt is because Newt is buying their votes.

Needless to say, he has not released one shred of evidence to back up this assertion and both the Gingrich people, and the Tea Party members are in an uproar. This sort of ham fisted stupidity, by a well meaning, but blundering, staffer, has cost Michele a lot of good will among folks here who identify with the Tea Parties and that movement.

Michele Bachmann is a wonderful candidate who is 100% right on the issues, fully qualified, and she is a fabulous one-on-one campaigner. However, her campaign staff is a joke. I would compare them to the proverbial Chinese Fire-drill but some Chinaman might sue me for libel if I did.

The Bachmann strategy has been to put all her eggs in one basket - IOWA - and hope for a miracle there. Well, I believe in miracles, but we are going to need one for Michele to get the nomination. There is something even stupider going on here. The campaign is actually sending e-mail to supporters in South Carolina, asking if we will make phone calls - IN IOWA! These ding-a-lings should be saking people in twenty states to make calls IN SOUTH CAROLINA because it takes months to make over half a million phone calls here and if we do not identify our people, and have a GOTV operation IN SOUTH CAROLINA we will not win!

I actually ran Ronald Reagan's very successful GOTV operation in Galveston County, Texas, in 1980 and I know what I am talking about. The Bachmann campaign does not want me, because I teed off the Ron Pauliban but they hire Wesley shoot-from-the-lip Donehue!
