Blaine, MN -- Michele Bachmann met with business leaders and job creators in St. Cloud today. The discussion was anchored on what Congress can do to change the current environment of uncertainty and stagnation to one of prosperity and growth. Bachmann said, "These business owners are the key to prosperity in Minnesota. We've consistently talked about the need to lower taxes on employees and employers as the best action to jumpstart hiring and growth in the private sector."
Bachmann's campaign manager, Chase Kroll, said the meeting was requested by the group because of Bachmann's business experience. "Michele is a small business owner and shares their experiences. Since becoming a member of Congress, she has focused on commonsense job growth by ending excessive regulation and taxation. She opposed the Wall Street bailouts and failed stimulus plans and is a leader on the repeal of Obamacare-- the number one job killer for small businesses. Businesses and families across the sixth district know Michele is on their side."

Comment by Dave3200 on August 8, 2012 at 9:22pm Michele is one of the few courageous conservatives in Congress. We must not lose her. The establishment elites can't hardly stand it when she speaks out with the truth on things like the islamic invasion. Therefore, they aren't going to support her.
If you don't care, then you shouldn't be here. But, if you're here, please find a way to help her win re-election. If you can't send money, then volunteer to work. Man the phones. Do something!!
Comment by Katie Baker on May 30, 2012 at 4:18am Dear Friends of Michele:
We had our primaries yesterday here in Texas and I could not vote for Mitt Romney, even though he was going to get the nomination with the number of delegates he received from Texas.
I still proudly voted for Michele Bachmann along with over 9,000 others from our state. It was a matter of the heart and conscience.
I am just sick at with what choices are left for President ... Obama and Obama Light.
I found myself actually in tears thinking about the future of our country on Memorial Day. It seems to me that those who have laid down their lives have done so in vain.
The America we have known in the past will be no more.
May God have mercy on America ... the blessings are all but gone and the rest are going fast!
David, thank you for your kind words. If anyone know, I know, that you have been a faithful supporter of Michele from day one. I'm with you in changing gears and support Rick Santorum. I read an article, I believe, in Townhall, Rick Santorum's baggage carries his clothes. Yes, he's made mistakes and yes, he's not perfect, but he is an honest, decent family man which will bring God back into our country and our lives. He has the same principles I believe in and he will lead our country and we'll be proud of him. I believe he has the experience and knowledge, and won't go for dirty little tricks.
A few things I'd like to share with my fellow conservatives. I frequent several Facebook pages and I have news for you, if those that have threatened to write in Herman Cain, Michele Bachmann and Sara Palin's name really do it you are going to assure another 4 years of Obama. Don't get me wrong, I would be more than happy to vote for any of them, but that's not being realistic.
Those of you that are thinking about Perry or Newt. This is how I see it. One of many reasons I wouldn't vote for either one. I feel decency and integrity are very important to me. Do you remember when everyone was talking about Perry running? Then you will also remember that he declared his run for Presidency the day Michele Bachmann won in Ames. That was her day and he took a lot away from her. Why couldn't he have waited a couple of days? At that moment he lost my vote. Then Newt. Do you remember how friendly he was with Cain? Yeah, until he had his one on one debate against him and basically destroyed him that day. You see, Newt was prepared to do exactly what he did, Cain had no idea what Newt was up to. See my friends, these are the type of things that stink and these are among other qualities I look for in a President. Let us join together and beat Obama.

Comment by Meredith on January 5, 2012 at 9:52pm I am still in shock too. Particularly since we were planning for her to be here in SC tonight at a fundraiser in a local doctor's home.
However, the reality is, one of those still in the race will become the nominee.
Huntsman is far left of the Republican party. Ron Paul is either a nut (the charitable assessment) or, he is far left of Huntsman. Perry is fading fast and just not up to the standard required in debates and so forth. That leaves Santorum, Romney and Newt. Santorum is a whiner not a leader. Both Santorum and Romney are more from the moderate wing of the party than Newt.
Therefore, with Bachmann and Cain out, I must support Newt. He is not a perfect conservative; but he definitely is more conservative than Santorum and Romney. Newt has some baggage, but he has been tried in the fire and he has admitted his past mistakes, repented, and asked forgiveness. Santorum is plagued by ethics violations that sunk his last re-election campaign and he has not been subjected to the scrutiny Gingrich has survived.
I believe Gingrich would be the best debater to face off against the usurper from Kenya. Romneycare is an albatross. Santorum is a whiner, not a leader.
Comment by Meredith on January 5, 2012 at 7:28pm I have not made up my mind as all of the other candidates are not real Conservatives. Still in shock she is out of it.
Comment by Robert Bechtel on January 5, 2012 at 6:05pm Dean I will support Rick Santorum
Katie,
I am going to Gingrich now that Bachmann has suspended.
How about you?
