It is absolutely amazing what you can learn when you are paying attention. I have long suspected that I got more information out of movies than entertainment (and or lack of). NOTES:

I caution everyone to do their own homework. I was all ears the day the announcement was made that Healthcare passed the Senate. What amazes me on several levels is that healthcare was not the issue on the table on that date at the time the vote was taken that supposedly pass the healthcare legislation. The legislation that passed the Senate that day had to do with some type of mortgage insurance plan for the military. Why this has not been challenged on every level possible is beyond my comprehension. A hint: PORK is not legislation, it is a condiment added after the fact. Now if I understand what they did healthcare was pork, added after the fact - IT PASSED NOTHING.

As defined in the U.S. Constitution, Article I, Section 7 "All Bills for raising revenues......." This is not self-funding legislation!!!! House passes by simple majority with same bill going to Senate. The HC bill that supposedly passed the House is not the same bill that supposedly passed the Senate (we ain't talking amendments, we are talking two different bills from two different sources with some like details). Why does no one wonder why it would have passed when the "public option" was demanded for it to pass? Healthcare could not pass as a standalone whether or not the public option was the issue. The reason the public option died such a quiet death is the fact that D.C. knew that companies would drop the healthcare benefit to their employees rather than meet the mandates it demanded of them. Mickey D was the first to yell "drop" and the rally goes on. The result, if you have not already guessed, is public option.

Before you listen, it is in everyone's best interest to realize that both Reps and Dems are responsible for the mess this nation is in and they share that responsibility equally.
