Love your scenario, and I join you in prayer that things play out just as you describe. If that did play out I think there would be an uprecedented groundswell of public support. There are so many that are coiled and ready to spring into action to support a vote "FOR" a ticket rather than the typical "pick lessor of evil" choices we seem to always face.

But you know the professional political pundits are going to also immediately spring into action making the case that PALIN/WEST have not run the gauntlet in the primary, and thereby not deserving of receiving the nomination.

However, we know the truth is that Sarah Palin has been running the gauntlet since the Valdez oil spill over 20 years ago. She has been fighting the corrupt political class her entire career.

And we also know that for that entire time she has had a consistent cause, a consistent purpose, a consistent message.

Compare her record of consistency to the presumed GOP nominee. Look at his record and message as he sought the office of governor in Mass. Compare that to his spoken message as he has transitioned to national politics seeking the GOP nomination. Consider what his message might be once he clears his etch-a-sketch for the general. The fact that he has already called for a stand down on efforts to fully vett President Obama should give clear thinking people a hint.

It is time for true Patriots to STAND UP, don't sit down and shut up. It is time for

PALIN/WEST IN 2012

I do believe your recall of 2008 is correct. My thoughts were that the Republican establishment figured that they stood a better chance with a grey haired proclaimed Military Hero rather than a relative unknown Governor with a very liberal record.

As for the 2012 Convention, it is my hope that Mitt will fall short again. Not that I want Newt to pull off a 2008 upset.

God willing, my prayer is that West will step to the podium and give one of his awe inspiring, fire in the gut speeches calling upon Sarah Palin to accept his and "OUR" nomination for her to be President while reminding (as he has done in the past) the Blacks, Hispanics, Native Americans, and all other peoples why they should not be voting for Democrats. God willing, then Sarah would step to the podium and give one of her "unmatched speeches" accepting his and our nomination while returning the favor by demanding that West accept her request that he be her VP. Then, God willing, there will be enough of us Palin/West/America loving patriots present to bring the Republican House of Cards down, ensuring the successful election of two true "We The People" Leaders.

This must especially be the case if the Democrats throw Hillary in as I suspect they will. The Democrats must not remain in control of the Executive Branch. Hillary is as bad as Obama!

Sarah knows you can't walk through a closed door. Sarah surely has a plan in the works of one sort or another. It is why she has been so successful and such a pain in the "fourth point of contact" of the left. (forth point of contact is an Airborne Soldier's reference to one's buttock which is their forth point of contact while performing a PLF/parachute landing fall when making contact with the ground).

My pick for President and VP has been Palin/West for well over a year, I still stand by this match up. Gingrich was a better choice than O'Romney but he is no Palin. Gingrich is a politician; Sarah is a We the People.

Odds are that Sarah will not make a run this year BUT if (once) Clinton enters the game, all beats are off. Keep your sights on August/Sept. This is when all game changes will be made.

When Sarah (God) does answer our prayers, we must not fualter. If we fail Sarah, we fail ourselves and our children.

Sarah and West would make a lovely team and wipe the floor with Odumbo or Sarah and Newt. I do believe Sarah as well as Newt will be ask o speak at the convention. Also why do you think she has been traveling all over the country and across the pond if she didn't have something in mind come Aug.

You are so right Helen. We have a president on the Democrat ticket that is taking our country to brink of financial collapse. We have a presumed GOP nominee that absolutely doesn't even know himself. He was a liberal when her ran for Gov of Massachusetts. As he transitioned from state office to start setting himself up to run on a national ticket he suddenly decided he was pro-life, and took other steps toward the right. Do you really.......  think he had an avalanche of epiphanies as he made that transition?  Do you really..... think he is solid on any position as you think about the transition from running in the primaries to running in the general election? Really...... Does a frog bump his butt........?

So there you have the presumed candidates from the 2 major parties. As Helen so correctly said, please pray for God's mercy on us. Don't know how it will happen, but desperate times call for desperate measures. Our country is in desperate need of a true leader in the White House. The presumed candidates for the 2 major parties just don't cut it.

Newt has bowed to the mitt altar, sealing his disqualification to be with Sarah who helped him.

I do not think she will put herself in but she surely may be called in Tampa. I don't know how, but I do know many praying for God to rescue us through her. She's miles ahead of all the rest combined, America's obvious choice.While others get tiny venues to look full, Sarah has to rent a huge open air space for her friends. God's grace is served with her every word, her facebook & tweets having more weight than the daily massive propaganda she refutes & corrects.

Doubtful she will be invited to speak at Convention. At CPAC the paid mittsters were even joining the standing ovations at the end of her short speech. Her 3.3 million facebook friends is NOT because she's pretty...She could be an 80 year old hunchback bald man in diapers, and I'd still trust her with my wallet and newborns.

If God still has mercy on us, Sarah will be our next POTUS, and she's already picked her VP having met him one year ago at Rolling Thunder. I'm gonna' paint that photo into a large painting, and make her a gorgeous necklace for inauguration. *_*
