I ran across an interesting announcement recently that perked my curiosity to no end. It announced that Sen. Bob Corker would be speaking in Los Angeles at The Global Conference 2012 being presented by the Milken Institute. Bob Corker's speech would be by invitation only, hum, and what was old Bob going to say that he did't want everybody to hear? Milken, where had I heard that name before? I googled, I read and then I remembered. Michael Milken, once known as the junk bond king was sent to federal prison for fraud in the early 90s. Here is an excerp from the New York Times April 1990.
Michael R. Milken, who created the ''junk bond'' market that financed many big corporate takeovers in the 1980's, agreed yesterday to plead guilty to six criminal charges related to securities transactions and pay $600 million in fines.
A final settlement between Mr. Milken, the former head of the junk bond department at the defunct Drexel Burnham Lambert Inc., and the Government would end the largest criminal case in Wall Street history.
Mr. Milken has been at the center of the inquiry that began in 1986, when Ivan F. Boesky, the former stock speculator, agreed to settle insider trading charges, pay a fine of $100 million and provide evidence about other wrongdoing on Wall Street. For more than three years, Mr. Milken vigorously maintained his innocence.
Mr. Milken, 43 years old, has been one of the best-known figures on Wall Street over the last decade. He was the most highly paid financier in history, personally collecting more than $1.1 billion between 1983 and 1987 from Drexel, while earning income from other investments as well.
Personally I can't help but wonder what little tidbits of information or advice Bailout Bob was willing to whisper in the ears of the Elite Global Goons. Remember by invitation only. For additional information on the conference please see the attached link.

Thanks JoAnn.
I note that, while we have 550 members in this group, a discussion in the main Forum might be a good idea!
550 members are nice, but we have about 3,708 Tennessee residents, here at TPN!
Only about 15% have joined, so far.
All should join this group! And conspire about replacing Corker this time around!
All members should join their State Groups. Join your State Group from Here!
