Wamp got my vote with his opposition to the Crap and Tax bill. The Dems are going to push through socialized medicine which will put huge costs on the states. For us that will certainly mean a push by the left for a state income tax - again. I believe Wamp will be stronger against this than Hasslam. But's it's going to be a brutal fight no matter who gets the job.

To quote Linda W.: "Bill Haslam, gubernatorial candidate, may call himself a Republican, but he's a RINO. He joined Bloomberg's Mayors Against Illegal Guns, before he withdrew. He WILL NOT support the Second Amendment, once elected."
Haven't really found his positions here, a negative in itself!
You are right!
Wamp was the only TN Republocrat to vote Yes. And my usual whipping boy, Lincoln Davis, voted No!

Not too good either...
Which bailout are you referring to? The bank bailout? After the September surprise (the run on the money markets), Bush & CO were scared stiff that the whole system was teeter tottering.

Wamp urged Fred Thompson to run for President. I supported Fred to the bitter end.
I will NEVER vote for Haslam! NEVER!!!!!!
I see your point, Sherry...
But Wamp is no rare jewel either! Check Kate's post below also....
Toni had this posted on the Conservative Women's Action Network and gave me permission to repost it on the TPN TN Board. I just put it up for discussion!
Why Sherry? I don't know a lot about him.
He's another wealthy politician who is buying his way into office. He can and will outspend his opponents. He is a RINO and not a Conservative. If you liked Sundquist (remember the proposed TN Income Tax?), you'll love Haslam!
Oh...OK. I had kind of heard that he was trying to buy his way into office.
Amen, Sherry!!!!
OK,then, let's pick on Ron Ramsey! Aside from speeding (who doesn't?)and accepting contributions from Jack Daniels (not bad stuff), what's he done wrong? Or right?
