Illegal Immigration is a Major National Security Issue

All of the illegal immigrants in the U.S. are criminals guilty of breaking a Federal Law. America has an Immigration Program and issues Visa’s in the hundreds of thousands per year. However, there are thousands of foreigners who believe they have a right to be here and decide to ignore the law and sneak across the border in many ways, all of which are against the law of the United State’s of America therefore entering the country as criminals.

The Federal Government’s Immigration and Naturalization Services department does not have enough personnel to accomplish the task of policing the entire country. Neither does the INS have the funds available to support the personnel necessary to accomplish this task even with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, (ICE) which is a federal law enforcement agency under the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS), responsible for identifying, investigating, and dismantling vulnerabilities regarding the nation's border, economic, transportation, and infrastructure security. ICE is charged with the investigation and enforcement of over 400 federal statutes within the United States.

Therefore, the law should be amended to include the empowerment of the individual states to enforce the Immigration laws in order to protect America from the influx of these illegals.

Illegal immigration is costing the American tax payer billions of dollars per year. Tax payer’s money is paying for medical treatment, school lunches, assisted living expenses, social security and welfare for illegal immigrants who have paid nothing into the tax pool nor paid the cost for fees to legally enter the U.S. This is not fair to the tax payer’s, the legal citizens who are in school paying for their own lunches and books and for the millions of immigrants who have come into this country using the legal means to enter and become citizens.

President Barack Obama, U.S. Attorney General Eric H. Holder and the Department of Justice are not addressing this major problem and instead are hindering the proper execution of the law by filing a law suit against Arizona and Alabama for attempting to stop the invasion of these illegals into their states.

The invasion of illegals into America is bringing illegal drugs and committing crimes that range from auto theft and burglary to rape and armed robbery. They are also transporting humans against their will and forcing them into prostitution. Some illegal’s are kidnapping people from families and holding them for ransom. Many of the illegals are in gangs and are recruiting citizens here to join them. Basically, illegal immigration is like a terrorist organization reeking havoc on American citizens and creating fear in neighborhoods across the entire country and without the necessary enforcement to handle the growing problem, it will continue to increase and multiply until America becomes as dangerous as Mexico or worse.

What will it take for our President to realize the seriousness of this problem and stop contributing to it and begin being part of the solution?
