What if....
The tornadoes are due to Obama's EPA measures that have caused the atmosphere to change?
What if the burning of coal and oil has kept the atmosphere stable in the past?
Are there any scientists among us that might know the answer?
If there was any truth in this then WOW!!!!
Do you know any people in the scientific field that could come up with an answer to this question?

Permalink Reply by Jill Clayton on Um, what? I thought you were going to say that Obama was doing something with HAARP. That would have been interesting, but oh, well. The short answer is that there have always been tornadoes wherever you have a dry, warm air mass clash with a cold front. The earth's climate changes happen naturally. Back when the dinosaurs walked the earth, the scientists estimate the earth was 20 degrees warmer and more humid than it is now - it would be unbearable to us, but was great for dinosaurs. Thing is, there were no SUVs or coal-gen power plants back then, just a lot of dinosaurs.
Interesting side note: Most dinosaurs ate plants and vegetables. Maybe the rise in global temperature today is directly related to the increasing number of vegans. Vegans blame the sheer number of cows for adding to the accumulated greenhouse gases (methane), but no, I think it's the militant vegans and PETA people. Everytime they open their mouths, hot air and noxious gases pour forth. 'Nuff said.
