And no, it doesn’t take much to ‘steer’ an unstable, susceptible individual into a certain path and act in a certain way. Just give him a ‘target’ and he’ll do the rest… Just as Hitler came to power during a major economic recession, blamed the Jews (and outsiders in general) as a principle source Germany’s troubles (Muslims, Mexicans, etc for the US), and promised a return to ancient German glory days (the same principle the Tea Party now employs) the stage, setting and drama then is now strikingly similar to our own, and only 70 years apart. Mark the words: you are not immune, and the lessons of the past are not as far off as you imagine. My Reply to Him:

This is the complete opposite of what the Right and tea party stand for so those who try to draw parallels with Hitler and the Right in this country are either liars or extremely void of any brains to think for themselves. I suggest you stop drinking the koolaid!!
