PM Harper's stance to stand solidly with Israel is heroic.  No doubt it makes some Canadians think he is crazy, and will distance Canada from Arab / muslim countries.  But I'd rather be standing with Israel than against it.  (Genesis 12:3).   I wish our schizophrenic Administration was like this.

northern. you are so right about american history but that was by design by the progressives. they want the children not to learn about our founding fathers and what the stood for. they are basically dummying down our children. if i had young children today i would do everything i could to privately educate them. no big brother mentality for our kids. they are teaching our kids to think government will provide everything for them and are trying to kill individualism.americans are finally waking up and god willing we will take our country back. thankyou for your kind words. canada has always been close to my heart and their contributions have not gone unnoticed.

You got that right James and I for one would much rather have America at the helm of all things than any other country.  I personally think it is long past time for Nato and the UN to be disolved and for all free nations to join together with America at the helm to help each other.  We all need to financially contribute to America for your assistance because though Canada has a good military we are only a nation of about 40 million people. 

I have heard Beck talk many times about the UN and Nato and I have the feeling he may think as I do.  I find it sad that this Canadian (and I do love my country) knows far more about your true American history and your constitution than some Americans do.  Beck is right when he states that America has been under attack for a long time now.  I have especially seen your struggle amp up during the last twenty years or so.

I liked Bush.  He was not perfect but after 911 he stepped up to the plate and did what he thought needed to be done to protect not just your country but the whole of the free world.  History will be kind to him I think while the ridiculous term of Obama will be among your worst pages.

We have fought side by side with you all along in Afghanistan.  In fact most of our military is there and was there trying to hold the fort down while you were in Iraq.  Fact is we did not have enought troops to send there anyway but I was disappointed my government did not support the move against Sadam.

However what the hail we are doing in Lybia remains to be seen.  Methinks this empty suit has got us in mud up to our necks now.  I sure hope he is a one term wonder.

One thing I do know is that Harper (my PM) was a good friend of GB's and does not think much of Owebama.

northern. canadians have always been considered as pretty much americans because your ways and ours were almost identical and we have always been friends and allies. your countries contribution to the war on terror is well apreciated and we are glad to have you aboard. we may not always agree on everything but one thing i think we do is this a fight for freedom not just in america but around the world.

It actually pokes fun at the Muslim faith as well.  It is a good demonstration of what the Muslims are like here in Canada and I think how most of them are in America.  They want the same things we do is all yet some do not have the education to strive for it.  Especially in the third world countries they come from.
Yep, Taquiyya is a wolf in sheeps clothing act that is allowed in the Kuran to get away with underhanded tactics.  You pretend to be something you are not in order to manipulate a situation but again it is only the radicals who use that.  Most of those 911 terrorists actually learned to fly those planes in America so they were pretty good at this. 

Sharia law is something they tried to bring into the Province of Ontario (I am in British Columbia.)  They tried to say that because we allow our First Nation people (Natives) to pass judgement in some cases that they should be allowed the same leeway but our First Nations are now given very special identification here in Canada which acknowledges the fact they were here first. 

The Muslims came later so their argument was thrown out.  As well my Canadian Muslim Association fought the idea of bringing Sharia law into Canada on any level because of its unfairness (especially) to women. They are Canadian Muslims and do not want radical Muslims to get a foothold here in any way.  That is not to say there are not radicals here.  Sure they are but we are actually slapping them down as quick as we find them.

There used to be a huge parade every fall here in British Columbia of Muslims, Sikhs - the whole shebang and thousands attended this parade.  Last year they were warned that no floats celebrating radicals who had given their lives carrying out terrorist acts would be tolerated but they threw them in at the last minute.

When they tried to get a permit for the parade this year they were denied.  It has now been banned from being held here as we refuse to allow anyone to honor terrorists.

Northern -- thank you for the dialogue.  The issue is not with individual people, but with a political system that wants to   1)  circumvent the Constitution, and 2) prevail over all other religions.  That is embedded within the teachings of Mohammed.   

I am curious about your perspective on a couple of things: 

*  are you familiar with taquiyya?

*  I see the sitcom 'Little Mosque on the Prarie' pokes fun at the bigotry of the West.  Does it go so far as to poke fun at radicals (ex. - that would practice honor killing or declare fatwah on cartooning of Mohammed)?

Canadian troops have been fighting in Afghanistan with yours all along my friend and we have lost many.  It is a worth while fight and one against radical islam that we must and will win.

northern you sound like a good person. i agree about obama and we will do our best to get rid of the imposter. the fact that you are willing to come here and help is to be commended. i know americans would defend you and your family with our lives if you are trying to help get rid of the radicals. true americans stick together no matter what race or religion.

northern. they just had hearings in washington on radical islam. the fbi and security agencies basically said the muslim community in america is not cooperating with them. they are being recruited in the mosques and on campus as well. like i posted earlier they are attacking christians all over the world. the so called democratic revolution in egypt is one of the biggest offenders including the military which attacked a christian church with a tank and shot 19 people in one incident. indonesia,pakistan, lebanon,sudan,yemen etc. its happening everywhere. where do you see christians attacking muslims and please dont say our military.we liberated kuait. where was the muslim countries t save kuait? nowhere we id it and europe and we never get any credit. if it keeps up eventually americans will get tired of taking it on the chin and start fighting back but up to now there has been no attacks on muslims in the usa that i know of since 9-11.
