Do you know who your neighbors are? It is time to bring back the block party. It is time to start our own neighborhood watch. It is time to know who will have your back if (God Forbid) a major crisis should befall this nation. Stand together.

The financial crisis that has plagued our nation these past three years is but the tip of a much bigger and much worse financial crisis to come. It is only the tip of a currency crisis that has been…Continue

Well Gwen, we must be brave and be the ones to knock on doors. I am sometimes off putting as when the weather is warm... I open carry my side arm... some people just don't like that, but I feel that it is important to remind people that good honest upstanding citizens also carry guns... it also spurs on conversation.

We need to get to know our neighbors. We can no longer live isolated from those around us. Just knowing who they are will not be good enough when a crisis hits.

The way I figure it, people who join this group might just be the ones to begin forming neighborhood groups.

Also, I'm looking for suggestions... Neighborhood Disaster Preparedness Organizations would be nice to start. Train your neighbors on how to prepare for disaster... everyone could chip in on a 25 year lifespan freeze dried food supply for the neighborhood to share. Plan for a neighborhood water storage tank for emergency water. Planning for and preparing these items as a community will raise awareness, but will also allow people to get to know one another.

Hi John, what are you suggestions on building up our neighborhoods and communities? I have heard this suggested before but it is hard to get people to go out and knock on doors. We were trying this in my precinct but no one wanted to volunteer or be in charge (block Chairman).

This is not so much a discussion about the Constitution or about laws, but more about our need to get to know our neighbors and prepare for future disasters. Where I live, we have floods, earthquakes and volcanoes to name just a few, and that isn't even taking into account the train wreck of a crisis that the nation's currency is heading towards.

We must stand with each other so that we do not have to stand alone.

Let's try and build this group up as a true Constitutional Community Group that supports the principals of good neighbors and people we know we can count on in a crisis.
