To advise all members of a fast growing grassroots project:

With the support of a growing number of Tea Party patriots with the launching of this "SHARE THE BOOK PROJECT" across the country, my OPEN PUBLIC INVITATION TO READ MY ENTIRE BOOK FREE OF CHARGE seems to have been accepted by thousands of "friends-of-friends" nationwide.  Literally THOUSANDS of new readers per day are visiting the newly created  "Open Public" blog site to read the entire book at .... FREE READ of Decision 2012 - A Citizen's Guide

While this is encouraging, with your support, it could be ten thousand times more effective.

Again, I just know in my heart that the power of having the “choir” at your back is a wonderful thing when they all sing in unison.

Enjoy and SHARE my friends - SHARE as you have never SHARED before.

We the people are in battle with both parties. Of 535 elected we are fighting at least 400 of them. They dont honor the oath they took. We the people are second class citizens to them. Until we the people standup and DEMAND they honor the people of this great country nothing will change.

.

You're exactly correct there Thomas...

Earlier in the night there was a vote on an amendment to cut $100 billion that pitted a lot of the freshman Republicans against the GOP leadership, and the old guard defeated the $100 billion amendment...we need to support those freshman congressman's efforts!

One of the reasons Tea Party Nation is co-sponsoring the Economic Summit with Peter Schiff next Saturday is so we can give them the support they need. The original 912 Project just signed on to co-sponsor it as well.

All the details of the Economic Summit are at the end of that video, or here at http://tinyurl.com/wecount  and the organizers are excited that Tea Party Nation is co-sponsoring the event. I personally am attending via the On-line option since I cant attend in person.

At 4am Saturday Feb 19th, the House passed $61 billion in cuts to the Federal Budget.

The Media immediately began reporting this as "draconian cuts"...as if these cuts would now result in grandmothers and widows starving and getting cast out of their homes and into the streets.

This short video puts the Federal Budget and those cuts into their proper perspective...which is anything but draconian.

The Economic Summit mentioned in the video is co-sponsored by Tea Party Nation:

Hello, Oklahoma patriots! Hope you don't mind a friend from Florida stopping by. Today at 10AM, Hamas-linked Muslim supremacist group CAIR will be in court in OK City to fight the magnificent law recently passed by voters in Oklahoma, the law that is designed to uphold the Constitution against all foreign law, specifically Sharia law. Pro-Constitution Patriots will be protesting CAIR outside the courthouse, if any of you all could join them. All the details are in the article below, by Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs:

I am in Florida but I will be in prayer for you all, that justice and the Constitution will prevail against the Muslim invaders!

I don’t know hardly anything about the Judges, so I have looked up some of their records. My parents philosophy was to vote all of them out. However, I want to make sure that anyone who has served the people of
Oklahoma well is retained.

Each of the following is to be voted on separately.

JUSTICES OF THE OKLAHOMA SUPREME COURT

Chief Justice Steven W. Taylor earned his B.A. in Political Science from Oklahoma State University in 1971. Justice Taylor received the Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1974.

Taylor joined the United States Marine Corps in 1970 and served on active duty from 1974-1978. He was trained as an infantry platoon commander and later served as a prosecutor and Chief Defense Counsel. In 1977 he became the youngest judge in the U.S. Armed Forces. He was promoted to the rank of Major.

Following his active duty service in the Marines, Taylor practiced law in McAlester from 1978-1984. In 1980 he was elected to the McAlester City Council and in 1982 was elected Mayor of McAlester, making him the youngest Mayor in that city’s history.

In March 1984 Governor George Nigh appointed Taylor Associate District Judge for Pittsburg County. In 1991 he was the first Associate District Judge ever to be elected President of the Oklahoma Judicial Conference. In 1994, Taylor was elected District Judge of the 18th Judicial District. In 1997 and 2003 he was elected Presiding Judge of the ten county East-Central Judicial Administrative District. In his over 20 years as a trial judge, he presided over more than 500 jury trials including the Terry Nichols Oklahoma City bombing case.

On September 24, 2004, Gov. Brad Henry (D) appointed Taylor to be a Justice of the Supreme Court of Oklahoma

After reading that he was appointed by Brad Henry and that he presided over the Terry Nichols trial, I have some concerns as to whether or not to retain him.

Justice James Winchester was appointed by Gov. Frank Keating (R) on Jan. 4, 2000 as a member of the Supreme Court of Oklahoma. A native of Clinton, Oklahoma, Justice Winchester received his bachelors of art from the University of Oklahoma and his juris doctorate from Oklahoma City University.

After graduating from law school, Justice Winchester practiced law in Weatherford and Hinton before being named Associate District Judge for Caddo County in Jan. 1983. In Dec. 1983, at age 30, Justice Winchester became one of the youngest district judges in the state when he was appointed as District Judge for the Sixth Judicial District of Oklahoma. During his tenure as a district judge, he tried more than 200 jury trials, ranging from fraud to first-degree murder death-penalty cases.

Justice Winchester was named Outstanding State Trial Court Judge by the Oklahoma Trial Lawyers Association in 1986 and served as an executive board member of the Oklahoma Judicial Conference from 1992 to 1996. He served as President of the Oklahoma Judicial Conference in 1995. From August 1997 to January 2000, Justice Winchester served as a U.S. Administrative Law Judge. Winchester is husband to former State Rep. Susan Winchester (R-Chickasha).

JUDGES OF THE OKLAHOMA COURT OF CIVIL APPEALS“Most voters don’t know anything about the judges. Bear in mind that every one of the six judges were appointed by a Governor. It stands to reason they reflect the values, views and opinions of the Governor who appointed them. Keep that in mind when you cast your vote on whether to retain or remove.”

“Up until 1966, Oklahomans elected judges in partisan statewide elections. Voters knew the judge’s Party affiliation, convictions and values. Judges had opponents and campaigned just like the other statewide elected officials. Using the excuse that elections cost the judges a lot of time and money and was undignified for the judiciary, they effectively lobbied the Oklahoma legislature to place a State Question on the ballot. That proposal was approved by the voters and amended the State Constitution to the current ‘judicial retention’ system. Since Oklahoma implemented the judicial retention system, not one Oklahoma appellate judges has failed to be retained. Obviously, the lack of information on their performance in office has given the judges an advantage at the ballot box.”

– Steve Fair, Chairman, Stephens County Republican Party

District No. 2 – Office No. 1
Deborah Browers Barnes is a judge on the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals, the intermediate appellate court in the state of Oklahoma. She was appointed by Gov. Brad Henry and sworn-in to this position on July 9, 2008. She was sworn into the court by her father-in-law, Don Barnes, who was a former state Supreme Court Justice.

District No. 3 - Office No. 1
Doug Gabbard, II is the Presiding Judge of Division IV of the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals, the intermediate appellate court in the state of Oklahoma. Governor Brad Henry appointed Gabbard to the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals in September of 2005. Gabbard was retained by voters on November 7, 2006 to a full 6-year term. He will face a retention election again in 2012. Judge Gabbard spent two years in private practice and as a city judge after graduation from law school. He also spent three years as an assistant district attorney and First Assistant District Attorney and county legal adviser for Atoka, Bryan and Coal Counties. Governor George Nigh appointed Gabbard District Judge for the 25th District in 1985. While on the 25th District, he was elected by fellow judges to 14 consecutive terms as Presiding Judge for southeastern Oklahoma. Gabbard recently announced he will run for the open seat on Oklahoma Supreme Court.

Disctrict No. 3 - Office No. 2
John F. Fischer is a judge on the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals, the intermediate appellate court in the state of Oklahoma. He joined this court in early 2007 and was retained by voters on November 4, 2008. He will face another retention election at the end of his term in 2014. From 1976 until 1980 Judge Fischer served as an assistant attorney general and from 1980 to 2006 he was in private practice. He was appointed in 2007 by Governor Brad Henry.

District No. 4 - Office No. 2
Larry E. Joplin is a judge on the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals, the intermediate appellate court in the state of Oklahoma. He represents District 4, Office 2. He was appointed to this position in November of 1994 and retained by voters in 1996, 1998 and 2004. He will be up for retention election again in November of 2010, when his 6-year term ends. Judge Joplin began his legal career in 1971 as an attorney with the law firm Pierce & Couch. In 1973, he joined Bohannon & Barth, where he worked until 1976. He then worked as a partner in his own firm, Wheatley & Joplin until 1982. Also, from 1976 to 1978, he was a special prosecutor in the Oklahoma County District Attorney's Office. From 1982 to 1993, he worked as a partner of Crowe & Dunlevy. He worked for a short time in 1993 as the director of the State of Oklahoma Office in Washington, D.C. and worked in 1993 and 1994 as general counsel for the State Insurance Department. He was appointed to the Court of Appeals in November of 1994 by Governor David Walters.
