Senators Jack Martins & Lee Zeldin will announce the introduction of legislation to REPEAL the MTA Payroll Tax. This announcement comes on the heels of months of studying, listening and learning about the MTA and their financial situation.

Senators Martins and Zeldin, as co-prime sponsors of the bill, will be making this announcement on the steps of the State Office Building in Hauppauge. This legislation will be introduced in the Assembly by Assemblyman George Latimer (D-Westchester).

The MTA Payroll Tax is a job killing tax that, in 2009, was placed on every business, school, local government, nonprofit and hospital in Suffolk and Nassau Counties and throughout the 12 county MTA region.

The tax has been hurting schools, hospitals and other non-profits and well as small businesses who have been hit with a tax to pay for the MTA in the midst of a recession. After taking office in January, Senator Martins and Senator Zeldin began working toward repealing this tax, which should never have been implemented.

Join Senator Martins and Senator Zeldin in getting rid of this burdensome tax.

Join us and show your support of this powerful legislation.  If we do not REPEAL this legislation, we will loose more businesses here in NY.  Why start a business or even stay in a State that is not business friendly. 
Join us and stand up to be counted.  Albany has to see how firm we are about this issue.

Anyone in the Rochester region 26th district, we need to hold this seat, one seat lost is to many, I have spoke with several candidates and Jane Corwin seemed like the best option...Also their is local elections in the Town of Riga, the current admin in office I believe have represented us well. I have the opinion dont fix whats not broke, we are one of the more conservative areas of NY state and I hope to keep it that way.....GOD BLESS AMERICA

Jack Davis has created a Tea Party line, it should not be confused with the Tea Party Movement, previously his Camp Manager was slamming the tea party, he is was agst an amendment to protect our American Flag and is for Gun Control, he also had a hand in creating 787 stimulus package and has ran as a Democrat 3 times in the past. This time he tried to run as a republican but lost to Jane Corwin who is the more conservative candidate of them all. He also took pac money from Obama and Rangel as well as supported Obama and his Healthcare plan. He has signs he has posted on every corner call your local election offices, they are not suppose to be posting them whereever they want, they need permission to do so. One last note along with others, Bob Lonsberry endorsed this guy, he should have done his homework first. Leads me to beleive he's not the conservative he claims to be.....

New York Is Crawling With Liberals! Both DemocRat And RINO Republican. They  Are Shills For Each Other! They Are The "Ruling Class" And This State Must Be Overhauled Completely! This State Has Been Beholding To The Washington Establishment Since FDR! Conservative Ideas And Ideals Are Foreign To The Majority Of The Population Of This "Great State" When The Rest Of The Country Becomes More Conservative Minded, New York Will Be Left Fend For Itself! Remember When Then President Gerald Ford Said "Drop Dead" (Paraphrased) To New York In The 70s. Believe Me The State Will Be Left Behind When The Majority Of The Other States Go Red! If We Do Not Do Something About The Beholding Liberals In This State They Will Drag Us Down! The TEA Party Must Get Stronger And Become More Active In State And Local Politics! I Know That There Are Those Who Watch From Afar And Like To Sit On The Fence However Those Days Of "Wait And See" Are Fast Coming To An End! I Would Remind Those That Watch To Not Be On The Wrong Side Of History When The Change Comes! And It Will.

I Met Some Nice People There And We Networked And Made Some Connections For Making Our Group Grow. We Plan To Meet At The TEA Party Meet Ups At There Locations To Help Our Bronx TEA Party. It Was A Cold Damp Evening However It Was Fruitful!
