Folks - Silver City is looking at the possibility of having a billboard in our area - we're first checking to see if interest is out there as far as people willing to contribute to this project. The Albuquerque TEA Party is hosting a Tax Day Rally on April 15th...but don't be fooled by the yellow signs pointing you towards the IRS--THAT IS NOT US!! Our rallying cry is "Meet Us on Menaul" with KIVA 1550 am radio station being the "virtual" host. In addition to your TEA Party sign (keep it respectful), bring an AM radio tuned loudly to 1550 KIVA between 4 and 6 pm anywhere along Menual with the starting point being San Pedro...we'd like to see if Tea Partiers can cover Menaul from I-25 to Tramway! It is preferred that you park somewhere in a residential area and that you stay on the sidewalk, either north or south of Menaul. If you would like to participate in a sign-making event or help distribute posters, please contact me at stupich[at]msn[dot]com.

We also are looking for businesses that would like an official poster to display as well as motorcycle riders and anyone with a big truck that could drive around town with Meet Us on Menual signs. There appears to be someone with evil intent who are trying to re-direct TEA Partiers to the IRS building, tearing down our signs and putting up their own. We need all the help we can get to thwart this evil!

Welcome to New Mexico, Linda! I'm a native, and you'll see if you haven't already that New Mexico truly is a beautiful enchanted land. But, you are right, liberals and Democrats in this state have driven it to shambles for decades! We are at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to ratings of US states for a good reason! We need forward thinking conservatives to save our state. Let's pull together - with your help!

I'm originally from UT but now in NM and would like to help with promoting conservative candidates and turn this state around. The liberal Progressives/Democrats are destroying any hope of economic recovery.

Margaret -- I've been hearing some really good things about Susana Martinez: http://www.susanamartinez.com Also met Allen Weh and liked him .. www.allenweh2010.com. I don't know much about Janice Arnold Jones ---- maybe others on this site have some input? I personally go for the most Conservative candidate... and haven't really had time to look into each one....

I don't know who that candidate is yet. I went to school with Janice Arnold Jones and she is a WONDEFUL person!! But does she have the name and muscle to defeat Richardson/Dennish? I don't know enough about Domenici, but if he only has name recognition, he will fizzle out soon enough. Any suggestions out there as to how we can evaluate a solid R candidate?
