Time to get the energy going in Nevada. Just moved into this fine State in March and will have our business moved to Reno by the end of the year.

We can win Nevada for the Romney Ryan ticket and more importantly we can win for America! Nevada turnout in 2008 was only 57 percent of registered voters. How many Obama supporters will not vote this year? we can win by getting 6 percent more voters of the right groups out to the voting booth.

We The People of the state of Nevada are begging you for your help and your support.

In short, the Democrats are making a push to de-criminalize voter fraud. In other words, anyone and everyone can vote without any concerns about criminal penalties.

PLEASE READ THE BILL SPECIFICS IN THE EMAIL BELOW!

The email below came from Dianne Burnett - head of the Nevada True The Vote effort. As some of you may know, I was at the meeting yesterday (Monday - December 12, 2011) and I will be at the next meeting as well.

WE DESPERATELY NEED PEOPLE TO WRITE LETTERS TO THE SECRETARY OF STATE (Address provided below) AND WE DESPERATELY NEED TO PACK THE HEARING ROOM.

I AM ASKING YOU, PLEASE RALLY THE TROOPS... Empty out every group and social club that you know; get every Swinging Richard and Blue Haired Old Lady to show up for the meeting on December 21st.

Greetings all -

Since this is a blanket email - going out to everyone - I must first thank everyone that was at the hearing this morning -

Secretary of State - R111-11 and R124-11.  Your attendance was of great importance .

 

Although we had so many people, they had to give us a bigger meeting room, as I looked around at some of the empty chairs, one

question came to mind - where were the rest of you?  I understand some of you have jobs that you just couldn't possibly take

an hour break from - and that's ok - we'll fight the good fight for you.  And I do understand there were other reasons people just

can't attend.  I'll address how you can help us with this battle.

 

You do understand that the 2012 election will be the most important election of our lifetime - right? The 'landscape' of our

country could change forever.

And you also do understand that the integrity of our elections are in the crosshairs - right?  And you do understand

we, at the state level, have to fight this?  It starts right here - right now.  We have been apathetic for the last 50 years or so

and slowly, but surely, the progressive movement has been inching their way in - and we have no one to blame but

ourselves.  They are so organized - the only way we have to fight is to become organized ourselves.  We need to stop

wringing our hands and just giving it lip service. The first step is fighting regulations such as this one.  Our Secretary of State

is part of the George Soros project.  If you don't know what or who that is, please google it.

 

The easiest and most effective way you can start helping is to attend the adoption hearing - Dec 23 - 9:00am at the Grand

Sawyer Building (555 E. Washington - across from Cashman Field)- 4th floor.  You don't have to say anything (unless you want to)

 - JUST SHOW UP.  A room full of people, signed in as opposed to what they're trying to do sends a powerful message - much more than the same handful of people, 'whining' (in their eyes).  Teenagers will be on Christmas break - what better Christmas present to give them but to teach them how our democratic process works - bring them along. 

 

The second way you can help is to send your comments to the Secretary of State.  Even if you attended the hearing

this morning and even if you testified, please write them down and send them.

***We did have somewhat of a victory this morning.  The Deputy SOS stated that removing the oath was an oversight and that

will be taken out.  We just have to follow through and see that it happens.  In your written statements, make sure you address it

with something like "please do not remove the oath requirement to swear or affirm" on all paperwork.

 

 R111-11

Section 4.

Registration by computer has eliminated the requirement to swear or affirm the eligibility qualification statements are true under penalty of perjury.

 

Section 6 1-(e)

Struck the requirement to sign an oath as required by Subsection 3 of NRS 293.3157

 

Section 7.2(e)

Added more requirements for registering voters (employees).  Could have an impact on limiting voter registrations by volunteer groups.  Also open to selective enforcement.

 

Section 8 – Voter Registration Form

does not have any requirement for the person to read and sign an oath that the eligibility requirements are met,

Subsection 3 of NRS 293.3157

 

Section 9-1(e)

Strikes the requirements that the oath be read and signed for absentee ballots.

 

Section 11 – Military oversees ballot

Requires signing the declaration given in Section 12 (read it -it is very strict).  Also note that the military is required to sign a declaration but no civilians are required to do so.

 

Section 19.1(d) Strikes the phrase person which advocates passage or defeat

 

Section 21. removes requirement for the Secretary of State to provide forms-very inefficient and moves the burden to the candidate to guess the form needed.  Also opens the door to selective enforcement by the SOS.

 

Section 23 (d) page 18

 

Section 33.1

Nominate a new Congressman – Seems as an attempt to (violate) the courts ruling on how parties may nominate a candidate to fill a Congressional office. End of Proposed Regulation R111-11.

 

R124-11

Section 2.1 (b) (c) and (d) Do not expand the various definitions of In line to vote” - gives too much discretion to the election board and, in some cases, the definitions are too vague

 

Section 5.1 do not eliminate "notify the registered voter."  If this is eliminated how will the registered voter know that someone is voting in his place?

 

Section 5.2 Don't strike the phrase in […]

 

Section 6 Why strike the first part of a?

 

Section 7.1 (c) page 6 Voting machine-note this statement from the SOS who claims that there is no problems with the voting machines

 

Section 8 - Places more restrictions on Poll Watchers—and limits their ability to note irregularities.

 

Section 9.1 – Insert photo between the word 'the' and the word 'identification'” i.e. require a photo identification of the voter.  Make the examples that follow consistent with the requirement of a photo ID.

 

Section 9.1(k) Strike this section—it gives too much discretion to the election board and makes voter fraud even more likely.

 

Section 10.3. – The inactive voter must have a photo ID required in order to vote.  Otherwise anyone can present themselves as a inactive voter—even if they have never lived at the inactive address.

 

Section 11 – Tightens requirements for challenges so it makes it easier to have people vote illegally and not be challenged.

They are excellent coins and I support the .Org though have never been a service member. I bet I'm on another terror WATCH list now.

So much for flying anywhere I guess. Would just as soon drive anyway, meet more people and have more fun, I know it's not GREEN but that's just me.

They teach what is in the books an the Gov has dumbed down the books an today when most kids get out of high school they only have about a 8th grade ed...not the12 grade that we had.. Myself I went to 18 differant schools an didnt finish the 12 th but got my GED in the spring of 58.. Got my first kid when I was 23 an the second at 25..lololol

Wow.. I started late and the boy wasn't here till I was 40 my girl was 5 yr earlier.We need to get rid of the govt in education. Just saying that lets you know what is wrong with education... the govt... when they get their slimmie hands on it every thing turns out to be a hand out, teachers unions NOT excluded

Well I got 2 girls an the youngest is 45 an she has 2 of her own an the oldest is 47 an her youngest is 18 and we are a guardian of of 14year old blonde...lololol So I know that the schools are not for the kids but just for them selfs.. They act like they are teaching in college an not grade school here in Vegas..

Tell you what Pat my kids come home with that kinda thinking they go back the next day with a different point of view and share it. Wouldn't be the first time I had to go down to a Public school and STRAIGHTEN a teacher out. I talk to my kids daily at supper and know what is up at school. But very good point, not many take the time anymore trying to keep up. My kids know US history I taught them that, I taught them work ethic, and told them the rest is up to you.Youngest is my boy 16yr old.
