Our third monthly meeting will be March 1, 6:30 pm, at Duck River Community Room, Decherd, across from Wendy's. This will be a structural meeting. Counties include: Coffee, Franklin, Grundy, Lincoln, Moore and Warren. We are organizing and developing plans to take the 2010 elections for strict constitutional constructionist conservative candidates in both parties. Coffee provided. Bring donuts, muffins, etc. RSVP here!

We meet once a month at Kristi's Chocolate Cafe in Fayetteville. We would love to have you join us any time to share views and information you might have concerning happenings in Tennessee and No. Alabama. We are having an old fashioned Tea Party in conjunction with Conservative Moms of America on Dec. 12. They are doing an online "tea party" discussing different issues all day but we are getting together from 7-9 for hot cocoa, teas and cookies and such for our own discussion and to share what was discussed during that day online. Comment by Lumara on July 27, 2009 at 2:40pm: I just wanted to post a follow-up to the Obama Health Care canvass that was scheduled for Fayetteville this past Saturday.

I signed up to attend the event at that Barack Obama site and received an email from the coordinator asking if I would help out. She sent me her phone number and asked me to call to discuss it. I called the number, and when a woman answered I identified myself as "Lumara calling to discuss tomorrow's canvass in Fayetteville." The woman immediately hung up on me without another word!

I went Saturday and it turned out to be a non-event. Two other patriots besides myself and a reporter for the Elk Vally Times showed up. That was it. The Obama canvass coordinator didn't show up. It makes me hope that the other nationwide canvasses were equally-well-organized (sarcasm).

Anyway, Obama has pro-health care events taking pace all over the country and there will be a Health Care Canvass in Fayetteville this coming Saturday, July 25 from 12:00-2:00pm. The location in Fayetteville hasn't been announced yet but I signed up for it because I want to give my opinion about the crummy plans offered by Congress. Comment by Kevin Zelhart on June 21, 2009 at 11:50pm: Shawn, The lincoln county folks appear to be falling in with TNteaparty.org. At the GOP meeting Jun 4th, they decided to throw in with the Tullahoma group again for a 4th of July rally. Most I know at the moment.
