Yes! Yes! A thousand times YES!! Please, Col. West, we NEED you NOW more than ever. You are most likely the only one who can beat Obama and save us from this destructive socialist path we're on.

i dont think he is the only one who can beat obama but i think he is the best one to do it. i love what this man stands for and what he has already done for our country. i really think there are several people who can beat obama but none as good as mr. west.

Mo, I agree. I really respect that he puts his obligations to his current constituents first, and as far as I know, he is currently seeking their permission to let him go so he can attempt this run. I hope they agree with us, that his country needs him now!

YES! Not only is he smart, and street wise, and walked in our shoes, its like he said, "I will not be intimated". I believe that. Imagine, for the first time in my adult life anyway, an honest president, who knows right from wrong, and can't be intimidated. Its like a fantasy...I would love to see a West/Christie ticket - Then WATCH OUT! :)

I am behind this man with every spiritual, mental and physical molecule I'm made of. When I pray for righteous men and women to take the seats of leadership in this nation, his face is the first image that pops in my mind.

Yes, I too would like to see him run for President but can I play devils advocate for a moment?

Rep. West is listed on the NRCC website (http://www.nrcc.org/2010-races/young-guns-program/) as a "Young Gun". Great, I agree that Rep. West is a "future leader of America"; what I have a concern about is who started "Young Guns":

Lately, I do not find the Republican "leadership" (which includes Cantor/Ryan/McCarthy) to be any better than the Dems; I don't find the Republican "leadership" to be "conservative". I can't help but wonder if Rep. West will be able to maintain his "ideals and principles" or will he be "influenced" by the leadership of the YG, who, lately, appear to me to be more like old time establishment GOP IMO!

What do you think--DC has corrupted so many over the years with all the power, parties, hype--can anyone resist?
