Hello, I am new to this group, and also new to the tea party movement.  I reside in crossville tn, however i am currently serving in afghanistan.  I want to be more involved in what issues are being brought up in the area.

Yeah that would be good. The government is moving so fast we will have lost everything in a blink of an eye.Seems like they have a scourched earth policy as long as they get theres who cares about the country.I look at my daughter and think my goodness she will never know freedom. We dont ourselves know what true freedom is its time we get back to our roots. No matter how tall and strong the tree is if you take out its roots it will fall.

Yes, they had a number of good speakers including some local candidates. It's good to see this is happening all over the country. On a side note. The owner of the hotel was so impressed with the crowd, and the fact they left no trash, but left the area as neat and clean as when the event started.

I had a good time at the tea party. Did any of you end up going?

I could not make it to the tax day event, but I was in southern Indiana this week. By chance there was a Tea Party at the hotel we are staying at in Madison Indaina. Great crowd with over 700 coming for at least part of the day. (4/17/10)
